Dr. Jacob Zamstein, MD

My appointment was at 4:00. The doctor walked out as i walked in. The woman at the front desk said he just left. I asked "for the day?" And she stated she thought so and ran out to catch him. She came back and said yes he left for the day. He had an "emergency " and i need to reschedule. Didn't look like an emergency as he leisure walked out and sat in his car in the parking lot as i left. Based on other reviews, seems he really doesn't care much about his patients. I left work early and recieved no call and clearly if the receptionist didn't know he was leaving no one would have called. Completely disgusting as they rescheduled this appointment once already. This doctor and staff think your time is not important and i fully intend on making sure i post as many reviews as i can.

If it were possible to give negative stars I would. The staff person and the doctor both provided completely unprofessional care for my 90 year old mother. Terrible experience and will be reported to every medical oversight agency. Left her traumatized by their treatment during her office visit.

I consulted Dr. Zamstein when I was diagnosed with cancer and I found him to be very helpful and kind. He spent a great deal of time explaining various treatment options and he helped me make a decision. He also explained in detail all of the possible complications as well as what to expect during my recovery. He was very compassionate and understanding.

My 89 y.o. father has been going to him for some time. Very poor communication, he does not listen to the patient, he is condescending, and he is in a hurry. He discounted my father's blood in his urine as being due to his blood thinner and ignored it. My father had an ultrasound done for groin pain and was waiting for followup. Doctor went on vacation for several weeks and had no one cover for him. Been over 5 weeks now and we still have not heard from the doctor. Father is still in pain. Worst patient care I have ever encountered. What if my father ends up having bladder cancer?

After two surgeries for cancer of the lining of the bladder, Dr. Zamstein never even mentions that there was a follow-up treatment. This treatment is very successful. After a third surgery done by another urologist and the follow-up treatment which was mandatory according to the new urologist I have had no recurrence of the cancer. Does Dr. Zamstein have any scruples? Do find other urologists that consider patients before fees.

dr zamstein only wants your money. doesn't care about you or your problems. I could write more but you'll have to trust me and not use this man. Or do and have a horrible experience like me.

This doctor was fine when it came to minor procedures, but when it came to my recurring kidney stones all he told me was to drink water. He said NOTHING about diet at all, which is irresponsible because diet is such a HUGE factor in recursing kidney stones. It's almost as if he wanted my stones to recur so he could keep making thousands on me every occurrence! I have not had a stone in several years now since switching to another doctor and being advised on how diet affects the regular recurrence of kidney stones. I highly recommend finding a doctor who understands more about what causes these issues to recur.

I saw this doctor for a second opinion after a kidney blockage surgery with my own urologist..He was very Caring & explained everything to me of how and why i had surgery and what my kidney function is now..and i felt very at ease after,,, he was very helpful and i trust him thoroughly..A+++ doctor!
