Dr. Evans is an excellent surgeon and a compassionate woman.

I was comfortable from the moment I saw her huge smile. She immediately put me snd my family at ease. My options, cancer, surgery and chemotherapy were thoroughly reviewed including videos. She tested me for brca and I was positive. When I was 39 I should have been offered this test by another oncologist but wasn't. I feel by Dr evans finding this mutation that my family can be closer surveillanced and hopefully never encounter cancer twice like me. Thank you for being honest, aggressive, empathetic and open to alternative measures. You and your staff are so much better than I could have ever expected.

I was referred to another doctor who was too busy to add me to the schedule with a wait time of 6 weeks. It was already confirmed that I had a large tumor on my ovary. That was unacceptable. After contacting her office I was in surgery within 1.5 weeks. She said she will always make time in her schedule for a situation like that. That was 7 years ago and I am alike and well. Her staff is wonderful and caring. Her chemo room was very comfortable and chemo staff made the experience very pleasant, considering the reason to be there. We were always laughing. Dr Evans looks you in the eye when talking with you and that is very important. I wish she could be cloned. And that is my story.

Your oncologist is supposed to be your rock. She fell apart during our meeting. It is difficult to take her seriously as she speaks in a manner that is unprofessional, almost child-like. She's been irritable when calls have had to be placed yet she and her staff have not been good at informing me of everything. Her staff are rather rude/harsh toward me if I question anything. Her chemo nurse dug the needle into my arm for 20 mins to find a vein. Seems that staff are rude, uncaring, irritable, overwhelmed doctor - wish I had gone to the other oncologist.

I have been a patient for 4 years after diagnosis and treatment of vaginal cancer. Dr. Evans and her staff are incomparable when it comes to patient care and are very tenacious in assuring follow-up. I am forever grateful to her for the care she provided for me during the last four years.

Dr. Evans embodies the qualities of what every physician shoud be and is the type of MD that all should emulate.
