Dr. Jacqueline M Laurin, MD

Dr. Laurin was exceptionally competent and friendly! She was not in a hurry, she spent almost one hour with me on my first visit. She was very thorough and explained things very well. I was very comfortable to ask a lot of questions. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Laurin!

I have been seeing Dr. Laurin for 2 years. I was amazed that since 1991 and 4 other GI doctors not one could tell me why my liver functions fluctuated to dangerous levels then go back down. Well, within 15 min of my first appt and her going over my history and records she named my problem! And she is v dr y attentive to you 're concernd and answers your questions. I really think she is an excellent doctor and that comes from a retired nurse.

Dr. Laurin is what you always hope your doctor to be. There are not enough superlatives to describe her style as a practitioner. Oh yeah "Simply the Best"!

I see many doctors for various health conditions and Dr. Laurin is by far the smartest, most considerate and caring doctor with the best "bedside manner". She is very busy but never acts as if she doesn't have time to listen to my problems -- even if they are not directly related to her specialty. Followed her from Georgetown Hospital to Johns Hopkins and would recommend her without hesitation.

Dr. Laurin is exactly what you want in a doctor. Accessible, caring, friendly, responsive, thorough, and obviously very well versed in her specialty. If you're having liver issues, I couldn't recommend a specialist more highly.

Takes time to answer questions regarding illness and answers properly and with sensitivity. Doesn't come across as stuffy and listens. Makes every effort to understand illness and to give proper diagnosis.

Dr. Laurin is probably the most competent and caring Doctor I have ever met in my life...she saved my life with her accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment. She's the best!
