Dr. Jacqueline Petray

Worst physician and person to ever be in the medical field. I'm glad another group of physicians rescued me from her!

I’ve been going to Ascension Owasso clinic since 2000 or before. This is a busy office and when I can’t get in to see Dr. Petray, I go to Urgent Care. I tried to make an appointment to see her to make sure the bacterial pneumonia in my right lung was clear. I was told I’d be called back later that day. When that did not happen I called again the next day and was told I was kicked out of the clinic because I had not been there for 3 years. So apparently after 20 years they don’t care and that’s it. No letter nothing. They wait til the big middle of Covid-19 outbreak for me to find a new doctor. It’s ok. She was not helpful when I broke my pelvis 3 years ago and actually did not see the break on the X-ray and it was broken in 2 places. For pain relief she prescribed a low-dose muscle relaxer FOR A BROKEN PELVIS! She’s actually done me a favor by firing me. I will not miss her flat affect and lack of bedside manner. How crappy of you. Can’t believe you treat 20 year patients so shoddy.

Poor bedside manners is a common thread that runs through most physicians at this clinic. It is ignored by the clinic and insurance companies at the detriment of the patients. There is a CRITICAL need for a PLAN OF INPROVEMENT at this clinic. Our public school teachers are placed on such a PLAN; if they fail this plan, are asked to move on! I think in less than ten years doctors will be ask to enroll in such a plan. Thank God if it happens!

instead of dealing with her patients issues and issues that have been going on for over a month, she wont see you....her answer to everything is go to the ER....even when home health calls her office to tell them that the patient needs to be seen because it is not enough of an emergency to go to the ER....so instead of being a DOCTOR and acting like one, her answer is ER.... so patients be ware!!!! and this is not the first time weve had this issue with Dr. Petray....time to find a new Doctor that actually care about the patient and wants to be involved and take the time to treat them accordingly....instead of saying go to the ER!!!!!

After waiting in exam room for an hour for a 9:00 appointment she came in at 10:00. She had been talking to drug rep. I felt she or someone should have told me she was detained. Lack of courtesy.

I always love going to a new doctor who acts like they are paying you to be there. She had a terrible attitude and a very bad bedside manner. She does absolutely nothing in her office (pap, steroid shots) and didn’t even completely perform what I would consider a well woman exam. She didn’t look in my ears, throat, or truly listen to my concerns. I asked for a medication ( for arthritis) to be changed and she didn’t even consider doing that. I would never recommend her to anyone! Back to the drawing board looking for a primary physician!

Completely unprofessional visit with her, especially since it was a well woman exam. She didn't tell me what she was doing, didn't even introduce herself. Just got down to business. Literally. 30 seconds later, she stormed out of the room. It was awful. I didn't know what was going on. Her NP apologized multiple times for Petray's poor bedside manner. I cried the entire evening. Looking for a new PCP.

I will never go back to this doctor again. I went to her office and had to see another doctor because her schedule was full, which it usually always was and I had to schedule appointments two days out, and that doctor didn't know what was causing chest pain and I was sent home with no answers. The next day I had a horrible fever and still the chest pain and finally was able to get in with dr Petray. She had me do a flu test and it came back negative and sent me home with pain medicine stating "she thinks I have a virus that mimics the flu. The next day I had a 105 temp that won't go down and ended up in the er cause I had the flu! She is a horrible doctor, don't put your health in her hands!! If I could I would give he no stars but it wouldn't let me choose no stars.

Historically, the wait time at this office was AWFUL. But the last visit was a bit better. Dr. Petray is growing on me. At first I didn't like her limited interaction. But we've developed a better repoire. Keep in mind she is a GP, and you will probably be referred out if you have anything other than this usual virus going on.
