Dr. Jacqueline M Thielen, MD

I had a telehealth appointment with Dr. Jacqueline Thielen of the Women's Health group through the Midday App for Menopause. She didn't ask me a very basic question that could have led to a life-threatening situation from a prescription she considered prescribing me. I knew enough that I brought it up, but it's a simple question that all ob-gyns ask. Then it took an email in the portal, a phone call and two tweets to get her to respond a week later to a very simple question about the prescription she wrote me. I couldn't start it until I heard back from her. This is not what I would expect from any ob-gyn and especially not from the Mayo Clinic.

Dr Theilen entered the room and began to have a conversation. She listened and commented, before heavily getting into topic she learned a bit more about me and surprised me by asking about my maiden name. What a subtle way to let me know she paid attention to my chart before walking in the room. She is an excellent listener and educator.
