Dr. Jacquelyn C. McConville

Highly recommend! She's incredibly knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. My best friend recommended her to me and I have since recommended her to several of my friends, too

Dr McConville was cold, had no sympathy, rough, and condescending. This is my first pregnancy so I may have had a lot of basic questions but anything I asked she would look at my husband with a smirk and put out her hands and be like "yeah..". As if I should already know this basic info (i.e can I take acetaminophen? Can I travel?, etc.) She was so physically rough, she took huge tools and just shoved them in, I screamed and told her it was too much but she said she's almost done so I had to wait. I couldn't keep anything down so even a sip of water was being thrown up. I expressed this to her and told her that I was weak, tired, shaking, numbness in my fingers and my heart rapidly beating. She just looked at me with no sympathy and said "well if that continues we'll need to admit you to the hospital and give you a feeding tube." She then proceeded to tell me all the appointments I should be making all the way to week 20 (I'm at week 8) and all the things that happen at these… appointments. It was so much information that it was so hard to process. By the time I got to the front desk to make appointments they asked me what they were for and I couldn't remember. I plan on cancelling everything with this doctor and never returning. She should not work with human beings, this woman is a robot.

HELPFUL WITH QUESTIONS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, RELIABLE, AVAILABLE

I'm not sure why she doesn't have a higher score on here so I hope this helps someone along the way. I did not have a OBGYN when I became pregnant with my first son. I researched hospitals I wanted to deliver at and found her once I saw she was affiliated with it. She is not overly outgoing or talkative so at first you are unsure but after having not 1 but 2 babies with her, she is my doctor to stay. She does not overwhelm you, has great bedside manner, answers all your questions AND makes the delivery room feel like a breeze. I highly recommend her for any woman out there.

My wife was in the hospital and Dr. McConville covered for our physician who was off for the night. Dr. McConville was excellent. She was informative, patient and freindly. After many hours, my wife had a very successful c-section and every nurse commented how good the incision was. We had a successful baby delivered and Dr. McConville is Superb!

Dr. McConville was on call when I went in to labor. She was amazing. I loved her positive energy and although I never met her before I felt very comfortable and like I could trust her decisions. The delivery went very smoothly thanks to her and her group of nurses.

Dr. McConville has zero bedside manner. She does little to communicate with you about your concerns and always makes me feel rushed.

Dr. McConville was on call when I delivered my (second) baby boy. I had an amazing spontaneous delivery and he is doing excellent. She was terrific.

When I was in triage, Dr McConville also misread my sonogram, declaring my baby breech when she was not, and scheduled a c-section for that day. (thank goodness my own OB came in to correct this mistake) ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE.
