Dr. Jacquelyn Ann Mcgill, MD

My daughter is now 16 but when she was younger she was very uncomfortable with male providers so we went looking for a female Doctor for her. We were SO LUCKY to have found Dr. McGill at exactly the right time. She has made both my daughter and myself feel extremely comfortable over the years, her care and follow up has been excellent. When we see her we have never waited an extremely long time and I always feel as though she spends plenty of time with us. I do not hesitate to recommend her to my friends, especially those with young daughters.

Did not feel heard or validated during visit. Had to find another physician who immediately ran tests based on my symptoms and found that I have an autoimmune disorder. Dr. McGuill made me feel like I was inconveniencing her when I communicated my concerns about my symptoms. Cultural competence training may be helpful to assist her with improving her bedside manner with culturally diverse patients.
