Dr. Jadranka Popovic, MD

She's likely technically knowledgeable but her bedside manner is awful--arrogant, supercilious, disdainful towards patient's parents and the resident (or fellow--don't recall which) who was working under her. We saw her one time and that was enough. She interrupted us, talked over us and after we politely let her finish her thoughts, she then walked out the door just as we were asking a question! She is so "old school" (as in "I am the doctor. How dare you ask for clarification. Just do as I say.") that I wonder how she is surviving in today's era of competition for well-insured patients. We could never work with her as a team trying to secure the best treatment for our child. I have a lot of respect for physicians in general, but this woman demonstrated such an over-the-top, contemptuous attitude toward us that I could hardly believe what we were experiencing. I would never recommend her.

dr. Popovic is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. She was extremely unprofessional and when she was asked a questions regarding a medication she refused to answer it.

On our last vist and I do mean LAST VISIT my type1 diabetic son lost some weight. Popovic said he was too thin "unlike your HEAVIER brother". "Maybe you can borrow some from him". These are eleven and twelve year old boys! How can a children's doctor put down a child in a room full of people? We waited over two hours for 5 minutes of her time only to have it spent embarrassing my child. And forget asking her a question - she will answer you as if you are an incompetent fool.
