Dr. Jafar Zarif-Saleki Salmassi, MD

This dr. Does not speak plain English very hard to understand what he is saying confused the patient extrememly! I had thyroid nodules and he ordered thyroid up-take ultra sound! I called 3 times for my results and his nurse tried to read the results she was not even close to the real results! I had other issues which my kidneys GFR was 27 and I ask her about that she had no idea what a GFR rate was. He was called from hospital when I was being discharged with a very low GFR rate and a thyroid that result could mean surgically taken out! Dr. Salmassi told them to tell me to come in next appt! Which was a month away! Seemed disinterested in my thyroid issues at all! It seemed he had no idea what to do, or how he was going to treat it! Frustrating I went to WVU in Morgantown and they said thyroid levels was good however I did have several nodules growing fast to be watched! The Morgantown Dr. found I had possible adrenal gland failure! Enough said! I would not recommend Dr.Salmassi to… anybody!!His nurse told me she was his interpreter but I had to ask for her to be in the room! I thought nurses should be in the room anyway! This is my own p rain all experience! If you gonto him I hope you have better results than I!
