Takes time to treat all patients including those that have Medicaid. Takes time to listen to concerns, and office staff is great at Chesterton office.

Very prompt and professional staff was great from scheduling to the nurses.

as a mother for the first time, i heard he was a great doctor. I wish i would have read these reviews before having my child. after being her doctor for an year, my baby got sick and went to the er after a day she died. he sat on his hands and guessed and now she is gone.

Have been taking my kids to see Dr. Gandra for 13 years. His chesterton staff have always been friendly and able to squeeze is in for same day appointments. Dr. Gandra is very thorough and knowledgable, always explaining things to me regarding what the issue is. Have been to other local pediatricians and did not get the same care from any of them.

I took my sick child to him for a period of four months. She had a bad cough, fever, and throwing up. Everytime we took her in he told us she had a sinus infection and to take antibiotics. Then he said maybe its allergies, then it was gave us an inhaler for possible asthma. Finally we took to the ER. They finally did a chest X-ray and they found that she had pneumonia!!! This is guy is the worst doctor in the area. I won't even take my dog to him. Parents DO NOT take you r child to him, all he is going to do is guess and it will probably be the wrong guess.

Find another Doctor: we made an appointment at 6:30 ..I raced from work 50 miles away to pick up my son ( stomach flu and throwing up all day) we made it at 6:32, the rude staff told me he just left....and I should take him to the emergency room. tomorrow i will take a day off and find another Doctor, a good one.

If you love your child and care about their well being go somewhere else. He is very short and to his point. Not concerned with your point or what you tell him. Thinks he knows your child better than you. Two thumbs down.

This is an awful clinic. Impossible to reach during the normal, daytime hours. Does not spend any time with child during wellness visits, and completely unavailable when my child became ill. Find someone else. ANYONE else.

Just a bad place the staff is rude everytime you call. You can never get your child in for a appointment no matter how sick they are....
