Dr. Jagpal Rana, MD

He will literally send you out for tests so he can make $. He told me to abort my baby because of some genetic abnormality but as I got tested all my results for abnormalities came back negative he sucks! Dont go to him if its your first pregnancy he shows no interest

My infertility specialist who I love and trust recommended I see him for help with my diabetes prior to conception. Small office but great help. God first but I have faith that with both Dr. Qasim and Dr. Rana I will be a mommy in no time.

Good things about Dr.Rana: straightforward, doesnt recommend unnecessary usgs or procedures and has good bedside manners. Now the negative things: the reception staff are very rude esp. the old lady who has no manners. She talks loudly about bill payments and embarasses you. When I tried to convince her that I had already issued an hsa check for the services still she kept asking for credit card. The sonology technicians are very friendly, caring and have great bedside manners. Prepare to wait for atleast 45 mins before being seen. Also i had a hard time scheduling appts in the time frame my gynec wanted for fetal monitoring. I also felt a sharp contrast in the way dr rana treats his american patients vs asian indians. Finally the parking is a pain in neck.

Both me and my wife were carrying the wonderful experience with Dr. Jagpal Rana and his stuff. I am writing this after 16 years as our daughter is 16 now tomorrow. In short, he is the best caring doctor we have seen so far !

Dr. Rana is by far the best! The most thorough, knowledgable and personable doctor! Have been going to him for over 25 years! He is excellent!

Wish I could turn back and pick some other doc. This doc was referred by Dr. Shah on several occassions to many other patients during my visits.

I almost didn't go to this doctor because of a few bad reviews I had read. I am so so glad I went and ignored all those reviews. Dr.Rana was very kind, he took his time answering my questions and was nothing like people made him out to be on some review boards. He has an accent but is still understandable. I paid cash for a level two ultrasound and because my baby is a belly sleeper they couldn't get all the shots they needed (not their fault at all) so Dr.Ranna had me come back free of charge and even came in the room and did some of the shots himself. Very nice guy. The office is clean, the techs are sweet as can be and Dr.Rana is awesome. I went due to an intermediate risk of downs syndrome and Dr.Rana NEVER pressured me to do anything I didn't want to (I told him I was not terminating my pregnancy either way and I just wanted answers to be prepared and he was FINE with that). These negatve reviews are no where close to what I experienced. I would recommend him.

The staff here at Perinatal Institute are very friendly, they make me feel at home and give me all the information I need to feel comfortable that myself and baby are doing ok. Itâ??s always a pleasure to come visit this institution and I always leave with a smile.

I could not enjoy my first 5 months of pregnancy due to the panic created. Rana informed me that i need to undergo amnio. The mental pressure after that till the procedure was done was unbearable. I would not recommend to anyone of my friends I felt he is little money minded.they have very good trick of collecting money. Not sure how it was for others

The Sonographer was really nice and gave me detailed information about the scan. I am happy and would like her to do my scans in my next pregnancy!
