Dr. Jaime Suzanne Arruda, MD

She is cold, rushes you, and doesn’t listen. After asking several times for her advice, she only could give hap-hazard wishy-washy responses with zero evidence-based guidance. Additionally, after an ultrasound, she calls and says “it’s normal” when the radiologist report clearly shows that it is abnormal. Rushes off the phone and could care less about plan forward.

I sent over three years of patient history to Dr. Arruda before my initial visit. These records included three laparoscopy surgeries for endometriosis with ablation plus information about a clinical trial that I participated in. After talking for a couple minutes dr. Arruda asked me “ if I was sure I had endometriosis “ I couldn’t believe it. Why did I gather all my records for this doctor to obviously not even look at them? She proceeds to offer a treatment plan that I’ve already tried. Which she would have known if she knew anything about me and my condition. I understand this doctor sees patients with cancer and has more urgent cases so I gave the benefit of the doubt and started the treatment plan. Today I was in so much pain I couldn’t move. I called her office and the nurse told me she wasn’t in today and to got the ER if it hurt so bad. Last time I went to the Er for this pain they told me to go to a specialist. This doctor has been beyond useless to me. Women with… endometriosis deserve better. It’s a complex disease and knowing patients history is essential. Apparently dr arruda didn’t think so in my case.

Dr. Arruda was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and is generally a wonderful person. I cannot say enough good things about her!
