Would give a zero if could. He's dismissive and arrogant. I saw him when he worked in NH. He barely said a word to me the entire appointment and I also work in the medical field and came with recs from coworkers. The most he said was when he left the room and laughed, "and stop taking the Prilosec." Stay away.

Why spend 9,000 on an EUS-ultrasound and not do any biopsies? My insurance company complained about this. He is a very nice person and very nice doctor and I feel he is very good. He is a kind soul who makes you feel that you are in good hands. He makes me feel that he understands my pain, which is helpful. The best around for specialized care (EUS).

I have been a bit worried on some EUS tests this doctor has done lately. Doesn't do biopsy but says that cancer is not there. I just hope that his cockiness is not going to cause him to not detect return of cancer because he failed to do needle biopsy. Let's hope he can determine cancer/lack thereof without a biopsy. His EUS (sigmoid ultrasounds) are a bit quick at times.

After being diagnosed with Barrett's, they had put me through multiple painful tests and procedures. They gave me an ungodly amount of prescriptions only to find out that I did not have reflux...what the tests and the meds were for! My allergy to narcotics was not even noted on the last test that Dr. Baquero scheduled for me in Boston. I expressed my disappointment with them and wanted to speak with him. The office told me that he no longer worked there!! They actually lied to me!

On my first visit I was given paperwork to fill out, they request you be there early to do this. I was in and out of there before my original appt. time. I had pain for 2 years. Before he examined me he ordered a test on my gallbladder. All other tests came back normal except this one. I was finally diagnosed with an abnormal gallbladder, no stones, and was sent in for surgery.

I have family history of Colon Cancer and Dr. Baquero also treated my sister. He is caring, gentle and has a great bedside manner. I have never felt rushed during our visits. He has performed 6 colonoscopies and a few upper endoscopies on me over the years and I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Baquero was very knowledgeable and very thorough. He listened to me - a rarity in the medical community these days - answered all my questions, performed a needed diagnositic proceedure and helped me finally solve a 20 year old problem. His expertise and patient relations are excellent!
