Dr. Jaime Lynne Bohl, MD

In 2010, I had a perianal fistula pop up. Very painful to say the least! And very messy!. I had three surgeries to put in a Seton stitch. Had 3 surgeries to correct the fistula. Had two more surgeries to put two separate plugs in. And then repeated the process one more time. For a total of 9 operations.I ended up in the emergency room, and had to have emergency trauma surgery on it,it was that bad, making that the 10th surgery. after 8 years of living with a perianal fistula, I met dr. Bohls. She performed the fistulectomy, and when I went for my follow-up appointment she told me I would never have this surgery again. Being told in the past, that the surgery is usuallu only 80% successful in most patients, I was very skeptic to say the least. I am happy to report that one year later that the work that doctor bohls did is still a success! no more having to wear pads. No more messy situations. No more painful situations! NO MORE SURGERIES, She did an outstanding job and I'm very… pleased with her work. The only downside is is that she had to cut into my sphincter muscle, which has left me at the brink of bladder incountenance and has given me a bit of E.D. But it was well worth the experience. Thank you doctor Bohls for giving me a normal life back

Dr Bohl operated on me 8/29/16. I had an ilectomy. She was very understanding, and made me feel very confident. I hated she left NC, but I hope she is doing well in VA.

Failure to acknowledge basic obvious symptoms of post-op infection and a refusal to perform requested lab work or prescribe antibiotics led to massive infection that required months of hospitalization. Wish I had not ever heard of this woman.

She caring, compassionate, and above all skilled.

Almost let me die, thank God after a year of pure agony another surge rein was able to re-operate and fix what she had left undone.
