This was my first visit to see Dr. Castro and I was really impressed. Dr. Castro and his staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and provided excellent customer service. Dr. Castro is a very kind doctor. I have been seeing him for over 10 years. He will listen to your health concerns. His staff is very friendly accept for one secretary. He has one very kind secretary and nurse. Then he has another secretary that has a major attitude every time I speak with her. I have complained about her, but she still stays there. Overall, I go for doctor Castro.

Dr. Castro is highly knowledgeable but not cutting edge, I had to suggest possibility of increased dosage in medication after someone said I may do better and sure enough I did. Sometimes you have to manage your own sense and sensibility when it comes to doctors. I would recommend him, he definitely knows his business and bedside manner is professional.

There is no doubt that Dr. Castro is qualified and I know he must be very popular among the hispanic community, but he really lacked bedside manner with me every time I visited. I don't expect him and I to become best of friends, but I would have liked a little bit more conversation instead of just commands as to what he needed me to do for the examination.Also, his office staff was not accommodating at all. I had no idea they did not take credit cards and they did not warn me over the phone when I made an appointment so I had to go home and reschedule for 3 weeks later. That is unacceptable. They were also very rude and gave me much attitude when I asked for my medical records to be signed over to me.

Dr. Castro was very good about addressing my concerns, and his office staff is always pleasant and helpful. I will return to his office, and would recommend him as a doctor
