Dr. Jaime Oscar Cruz, MD

Dr. Cruz is an excellent doctor, very calm, polite and caring. He listens and answers all your questions. Her front desk receptionist is terrible. She is rude, mean, impolite and doesn’t seem to care to answer the phone. She doesn’t have patience and seems to be in bad mood all the time.

Love Dr Cruz but the Office Manager is a different story. They stating my insurance didn’t approve claim but they never called or sent me a notice letting me know what was going on with insurance. They waited until my next visit to tell me. My insurance tried calling the office manager (she does billing/claims) and she refused to talked to them. She called me back with attitude and stated that it’s my responsibility to be dealing with my insurance, that they only file the claim out of COURTESY but it’s not their responsibility. Never have I heard a doctors office say that they only file insurance claims for patients out of courtesy. I didn’t know it was my responsibility to do that every time I see a provider. Asked to speak to Dr Cruz and she stated if I wanted to talk to him I needed an appointment and there was no one else above her because she was the office manager. So basically I couldn’t do anything because she was in charge and whatever she said goes. Lady was very… rude and I will never go back to that office. Do not recommend unless they hire an office manager that knows how to act professional

Dr. Cruz and Ms. Fernandez are excellent in what they do, I highly recommend them...HOWEVER the back office staff leaves a lot to be desired for. They DO NOT follow-up or answer the phones. All calls go through an automated system then you have to leave a message and they'll take days before they call you back...if you're lucky. They are most impolite and at times difficult to understand over the phone.

I found Dr. Cruz to be an honest, compassionate, wonderful doctor. He thoroughly explained my situation and diagnosis. And he confidently explained his plan about how to make me well. Every time I walked out of his office I felt completely at ease and confident that he was doing everything he could do on my behalf.

Dr Jaime Cruz is a great doctor and he has been great to me and my family.

While Dr. Cruz is very nice and professional, his staff is impolite, gives wrong information, and very unhelpful. I would never recommend him due to his staff. They are horrible.

Dr. Cruz is very well educated, knowledgeable, willing to listen and compassionate. He has attended my care for 16 years and provided the best medical advice and care of any physician I have ever had. His office staff and his systems they incorporate for refills, apts, and billing are second to none. Dr. Cruz takes the time to listen and gives you a specific health care plan. Gives you feedback about your problem. Excellent care and treats you with dignity.

Dr. Cruz has wonderful bedside manners and is an excellent doctor. I feel I am in a very good care with him.

I have been seeing dr cruz for 4 years and he had my thyroid under control i saw 3 other drs who could not even tell me why my blood pressure was so high. I would highly recommend dr cruz for thyroid problems.
