Dr. Jaime Pena, MD

Very supportive. I was very scared when I was pregnant with my child. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.

Dr. Peña was the one who did surgery on me to remove polyps in 2005 and did a great job, sometimes Dr. Peña can tend to be a bit firm when it comes to speaking with patients. The doctor had always been a bit difficult to communicate with, but on a recent visit to visit Dr. Peña, I noticed that he had much better bedside manner and appear to be a lot more compassionate about how he made me feel as a patient. this past visit the doctor was patient and gentle and was willing to answer questions and hear my concerns which every doctor should be willing to do for their patients.

Stay away from this man, he doesn't talk to you about anything and doesn't listen to anything you say. I give him an F. He is rude and arrogant, seems to think he is GOD.

Dr Pena delivered my child 17 months ago at random because he was who was on call at the time. It was my first child so I just trusted he knew what he was doing. Please, do not put yourself or your child's life under his care. He was so inappropriate to me before and during delivery that I am scarred to this day. I've never felt so helpless and out of control while being mistreated and spoken down to by a man in such a vulnerable situation. Thankfully my daughter was healthy so that has been my reason to not take legal action. I know that God is the ultimately in control but feel my voice and experience needs to be shared to help other women make a choice for their care. I am now pregnant again, surprisingly not scarred enough to go through it again as my daughter is such a blessing. However, if he were to even attempt to step foot in my delivery room, well let's just say that won't be happening. Not a chance. I will see anyone but Dr. Jaime Pena and have voiced that to my doctor as… well as the head staff at the Corpus Christi Women's Clinic, as I have shared my entire experience with them. It is a shame he is still allowed to practice and handle women in such a vulnerable state. He should be ashamed of himself and his treatment to his patients.

If I could put no stars I would. Dr Pena delivered my baby 7 months ago and I still get sick to my stomach thinking about the way he treated me in the delivery room. Please, please, do not put you or your baby's life under his care and please do not let him deliver your baby. I had such a terrible experience and feel so awful about the way he treated me and my husband.

DR. PENA never stopped by to introduce himself before my c section and when we did meet him he was not very friendly. He has no people skills whatsoever

Dr Pena was a great dr. But the ladies up front were the worst! They were so rude and the white lady was so rude and yelled at my husband and I. I am a first time mother and they made me feel so uncomfortable and I will never go back. Like I said Pena was great but the girls that work there are so unprofessional!!

Dr. Pena has the worst staff of any office I have visited. They are rude, have attitudes, and do not make patients feel welcome at all. Dr. Pena himself spends less than 15 minutes in the examination room, and does not do a good job of explaining anything during pregnancy, this for a first time mother is very alarming. When voicing concerns to nurses they let me know that they would be releasing me as a patient and no other doctor in the entire practice would be seeing me. This is not the way patients should be treated, I would never recommend this office or Corpus Christi Womens Center to anyone.

Dr. pena is an awesome doctor and always has your best interest at heart. He genuinely cares about every one of his patients. I have put my trust in him twice to make sure that my children and I made it out of delivery healthy and safe. Both times were csections and I felt very comfortable with my life in his hands. I wouldnt trust anyone else with the life of my children or myself. There isnt any other doctor for me. Thank you dr pena you are the best.
