Dr. Jaime Perez, MD

Dr. Perez is rude and unprofessional. I wanted some work on my nose and he kept saying “it’s not that bad”. He looks like a 60 something year old haggard woman in my opinion and he’s not much to look at either. He’s from Venezuela and he obviously hasn’t kept up with current techniques. He primarily does boobs and tummy tucks. I would not let him touch your face. If you want to see an example of bad plastic surgery, look at the blonde woman who works in his office. She has horrible extensions which she digs at consistently. Her voice is like a Muppet and her lips look hard, like cement like if she fell over, she would break her face. Anyway, I don’t know the girl but you could buy any of that at Walmart. She was so plastic and fake and overfilled.

This review is extremely late but I was speaking with a friend about something horrible that happened to me a long time ago and it inspired me to look him up to see if he was still practicing. Where do I even begin? When I first met Dr. Perez, I was 17 years old. I was in a horrible work place accident where all 4 of my fingers were ripped off by a machine. This happened at a job in Clearwater and apparently Dr. Perez was the one surgeon skilled enough to work on me. 45 min ambulance ride later and there I was at Tampa General. Dr. Perez’s bedside manner is impeccable. My surgery was 6-8 hours long and he took the time to come out to my family to update them, my family told me that even he seemed to be emotionally affected by what he saw, and how it was one of the worst things he’d ever seen. My surgery would even require skin grafts on my hand. The next morning he checked on me and it was as if he really truly cared. He tried to do as minimal as possible so that I didn’t lose any… more function and didn’t want to give me any more scars then necessary since I was a young girl. The extent of the damage was so severe, it required many many follow up appts, and it sounds silly to say, but I looked forward to them, because it was so nice to be treated by a doctor who clearly cares. It’s been 13 years since my accident and I still think about Dr. Perez all the time. While my fingers weren’t able to be reattached, I still have full function of my dominant hand. I went on to also become a nurse too. So with that being said, I’ve had a lot of experience with healthcare professionals and no one has come close to the bedside manner Dr. Perez provides, and if you’re on the fence about looking for a surgeon, I literally cannot recommend this man any higher.

Doctor has some very shady business practices. My wife and I paid a deposit for her surgery and she didnt pass the medical clearance and they kept our $795, saying it was non-refundable. We understand if WE cancelled the surgery then it was non-refundable, but the DOCTOR cancelled the surgery, that money should be refunded. Doctor refused to speak with us, front desk staff claims they "can't do anything" and office manager is inept. Wouldn't return phone calls. BUYER BEWARE - ONE STAR - SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE. And we aren't the only ones. We had several friends go to Dr. Perez, he cancelled surgery before the date, and KEPT THE MONEY. Must have needed a new Porsche. DO NOT GIVE THIS OFFICE YOUR MONEY.

Terrible experience with him. I do not recommend him at all. The worst bedside manner and would not fix any of the issues I had 1 year post surgery. Literally pretended like they weren’t problems or that he didn’t see them.

Dr Perez delivers better that what I was expecting. I consider myself very demanding and I was nervous but dr Perez is a true artist

Terrible Custimer Service. They were rude and condescending..

The only reason I gave 4 stars for Promptness is because they are so good that their waiting room is always busy. You may have to wait 15 - 30 minutes depending on the day. But the wait is so worth it. Once you are being seen, Dr. Perez spends time with you making sure you understand and feel comfortable. He's not rushing you out to see the next patient. He's very honest and realistic when discussing your options, which was important to me. Now about my results...AMAZING! I was so scared to have this procedure done but I have nothing but good things to say. I love my body and I have my confidence back. This is one of the best decisions I've made and would do it all over again. Dr. Perez is very skilled and his vision of beauty is remarkable.

Everyone in his office are friendly and treat patients with respect.

Dr Perez is a great surgeon he's very smart and he has a lot of knowledge. His staff is the best they are caring and loving. I will recommend Dr. Perez to anyone for cosmetic surgery.

Love Mr Perez....Beyond Amazing... The Only Person I will let Operate on me... He is so Talented and Skilled he's the Man.... You Want the Best Has right Here... 20 More Days till I operate Again... Can't Wait!!!
