Dr. Jaishree Manohar, MD

3 weeks ago I find it very concerning that my review of Dr Manohar I posted years ago is no longer here. I WILL continue to repost this if it continues to get deleted! To recap my experience. I first began seeing her in 2015, things started off well. I was diagnosed with Ankylosing spondolytis by 2 different rheumatologists in 2012 & she as well, agreed with the diagnosis & recommended remicade. After 4 months into remicade, I had a SEVERE decline in health & a SEVERE increase in pain in totally new areas immediately following a dentist apt. pain was the entire left side of my face, down the left side of my neck & into my left clavicle area. 2 weeks after the dentist procedure, I was admitted to manatee memorial for MRSA which was told it was a false +. In the midst of my severe health decline, I was prescribed ALLOT of antibiotics over a long period of time. I began having severe dizzy spells, syncope, & few times, I would black out for a few seconds. All of my pain was coming from… my left temple & the best way to describe it is it felt like a blood vessel was pinched like how a garden hose would get kinked. When you unkink the garden hose, you get a sudden blast of water. That's what I was feeling on the left side of my temple, up into my brain. I began expressing my growing concern for my sudden onset of symptoms. Her recommendation was to just continue remicade & give it more time to take effect. I have a bad habit of googling & trying not to self diagnose, but have some ideas of what I can ask next time I see the Dr since I wasn't getting any better, I was in the ER more times than I can count, & appointments were always so far out. By the time I had my 3rd visit with Dr M since the onset of the new symptoms occured, I expressed that the symptoms were worsening so I asked her if it could be a 2nd auto immune disease? She said no w/o any testing. I then asked if it could be temporal arteries (which was one of the first results I came across when searching the symptoms I was experiencing.) I understand Drs hate when you mention you read this on the internet, although, I had good reasoning for bringing up T.A. People who are at risk for T.A. are those over 50, people with auto immune issues & people who have been on long periods of antibiotics. She IMMEDIATELY shot down the possibility of TA solely based off of the fact I was too young, even though the other 2 possible causes were spot on. My following visit, I was at my breaking point. I was having syncope episodes while driving. 1 time with my son in the car. So in full tears I begged for her help. I told her this all began immediately after that dentist apt and the "false positive" MRSA. I really felt the dentist was the cause & when I tried asking the dentist why all of a sudden I was suffering new symptoms after seeing him, I asked if I could've gotten an infection from my dental procedure which he replied (with a smirk) "I've never heard of ANYONE getting an infection from a dental procedure". It was then that I realized I was dealing with an unprofessional dentist. I then reached out to a lawyer to explain my situation as my quality of life was severely unbearable! My next visit to Dr M, again in tears due to the debilitating pain, I told her what the dentist said & I told her I spoke with a lawyer because I knew what he said was 100 false and really needed her help to find out what was the cause of the sudden symptoms. Again with no answers or help, she then offered if I would like a second opinion from the other rheumatologist that worked in the same building which I said yes. When that apt with the new rheumatologist came, I checked in at the front desk only to be handed an envelope that contained a letter stating that I was being released as a patient from their practice due to "Dr/patient conflict. Dr Manohar is by far one of the worst Drs I've had the unfortunate "pleasure" of working with also ????she receives the highest financial compensation from pharmacutical companies cuz she agreed to prescribe ONLY their brand. ????RED FLAG????

She's very kind very knowledgeable and very helpful

I have seen doctors in PA and FL and never seemed to feel better. Was put on different meds to no avail and then I heard about Dr Manohar. She was kind, caring and listened to my medical issues. After a thorough work up she prescribed a medication and I feel like I am getting some of my life back. She worked tirelessly to find my problem. For me a God send. Thank you Dr Manohar

This doctor prescribed aggressive medication without the proper blood work up. Did not check liver enzymes. When questioned she said she was the doctor and knew what she was doing. Though she never explained the danger of the medicine and again no work up to confirm enzyme levels. Never bothered to check on patient or return patient calls. Her bedside manner is disappointing.

I've seen Dr Manohar since 2016. She has a wonderful caring attitude in trying to assist a patient improve their condition. With her care my condition has improved.

Dr. Manohar has been the best doctor I've had, probably in my adult life. She is respectful, caring and knowledgeable.

After seeing several really bad doctors, I found one that was a rose among the thorns. It was worth the wait to get into this office.
