Dr. Jaiwant K Rangi, MD

This office is disorganized to the point of negligence. Without exception, expect to wait more than an hour in the exam room before the doctor shows up, IF she shows up. Staff turnover is excessive and they frequently fail to file necessary paperwork to have prescriptions filled on time, leaving me without medication for days at a time. On several occassions. The office is frequently closed and voicemail full for months at a time. It is next to impossible to reach anyone for help. Your health is too important to entrust to these people!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ranji for a few years now. She is extremally knowledgeable in her fields and She is always studying and learning the latest new medications to help her patients. She truly cares about her patients and their health concerns and tries endlessly to get to the root of your problems. She is up to date on the latest medications that are available. I too was frustrated with the wait time in the waiting room but when it is time for her to be with me I do not feel rushed. Dr. Ranji has made a difference in my health issues and I thank her for it!

Always consistent...after waiting forever, less than 10 min with her, NEVER checking bottom of feet as a diabetic, nothing but typing on the laptop while 'seeing' her. She has TOO MANY PATIENTS to give anyone any REAL attention as a patient. Wanna be treated as cattle and a cash cow? Gosh I miss my old endo but he moved out of State because he was thorough and cared, knew every patient by name.

She did not let me tell her my history as a new patient she has never seen. Just went on and on and sounded like she knew nothing about type 1! She didnt even realize I use a pump even after I filled out all my paperwork. She continuously left the room for another patient plus 1 hour wait time. I had my appointment for over a month. You need to learn how to build your schedule and manage your time it’s ridiculous. She forced a sensor on me without asking about my history with them (hint theyve never worked for me) and didnt even explain the kind she was stabbing into me. Would revoke her license if I could. Beware.

First, I believe and know Dr. Rangi is caring for me properly with her diagnosis and management of my Type1. My experience does mimic similar complaint that the waits are unnecessarily long. You either wait in the front room, the exam room or both. E.g. appointment was for 11:15am, I have been in the exam room waiting 45min, its now12pm. Still waiting. My other observation and complaint is the level of service for equipment and best insurance options to cost. It appears to me that the staff is under resourced and has limited knowlege of insurance changes. The staff that manages these insurance and equipment needs is a part time resource and I have never had any follow up with this person. I've done near most of my own follow up with the 3rd party equipment companies because of the lack of proactive support from Dr. Rangi's staff.

Very dismissive...waited an hour in the waiting room then another 45 minutes to see her. Spent only 10 minutes with her ...she barely went through my paperwork with me and was billed $450 for a consult! Really?!?! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! DO NOT GO TO HER!!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr,Rangi for many years. She saw me through a kidney transplant and doctored me after the fact. She is very in touch with her patients and always listens and gives straight accurate diagnosis. Office people are always friendly and never a long wait. She has seen me down a long road and I am very indebted to her.

Very unprofessional office! Unable to get a human on the phone and messages left are usually not returned. Wait times in office are unacceptable. My last appointment the office was closed when I got there. That was a week ago and I still have not gotten a return call. I will be going to Sacramento from now on. I should have gotten a new doctor sooner.

This is the worst doctors’s office I have ever been to. Impossible to get a human on the phone so you leave a message which may never get a response. If you are lucky (?) enough to get an appointment plan on being there for hours before you finally see Dr Rangi for a couple minutes. Don’t even try to get a question answered over the phone because it won’t happen. I have left detailed letters so it would be perfectly clear what I wanted. Didn’t help. My last appointment, and I do mean LAST, I got there on time to find the door locked. I called and left a message two days ago and have not heard back. I will be going to Sacramento from now on. Everything about this office is terrible!!!!

On numerous visits the wait to see the doctor was over an hour. The last appointment I had scheduled I arrived to the office to find it closed for the day, scheduling error I was told. It is unfortunate that Dr. Rangi is the only endocrinologist in the area but I will gladly drive two hours one way to see a different specialist.
