Dr. Jalal Jebrail Thwainey, MD

I had this doctor as my primary care physician for 15 years. He is great as a doctor and this isnt the problem. The problem is his staff as many have changed in the time I have had him as a doctor. The result has been a disaster for this office as the staff is no longer personable and caring as they were before, I have stood at the window to sign in while they talked to each other and didnt realize i was standing there, I have been done with a appointment and needed to remind them that I needed to know if my prescriptions were called in every time and then many times they are called into different pharmacies. My largest problem was when I got on Medicare and choose Blue Care Network as my insurance. I talked to the office manager who told me they had several patients with BCN that were having trouble as doctors office had not done what they needed to do just to accept the insurance and this was in November 2024. The doctors office finally got that done and they could accept it but the… doctor still wasnt a primary care physician in the system and if I wanted to use them I would have to pay as if I was seeing a specialist when a PCP doctor has no copay. I started speaking to the doctors office about this problem in December 2024 and was still going round and round with the doctors office manager who blamed Blue Care Network but when I called BCN they told me that they received NO PHONE calls from the doctors office. It was now March 2025 and I increased the amount of calls i was making and realized the doctors office manager didnt even have the correct phone number to call. BCN called the doctors office manager and gave them the correct phone number in mid March 2025 and I waited another 3 days for something from my doctors office. Finally I received a rude phone call from the doctors office manager who informed me very rudely that Dr Thwainey would NEVER be a primary care physician on Blue Care Network because it was to much work. I have since changed PCP because of this and would NOT RECOMMEND this doctor to anyone who is looking to change their family doctor as you might be too much work!

The service is great from the time you walk in the door and the doctor and staff never make you wait.

Dr. Thwainey has been taking care of my family all of my life. Him and his staff are the absolute best! Highly recommended.

wrong diagnosis, rude nurse and billing, lost blood work results many times, just don't feel comfortable with this office anymore

Horrible, one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Wrong scripts faxed to pharmacy, lost blood work multiple times, nurse not friendly and can be rude, too many complaints to list
