She should probably not be a psychiatrist

Made a lot of unprofessional and creepy comments about my appearance when I had sought her help after an abusive relationship, very much a narcissistic person who made comments about her own appearance every session. Insulting and dismissive at a time in my life when I needed help and support more than ever. I will never forget how disrespectful and self-obsessed she was.

Dr. Kobeissi is a very patient psychiatrist and always spends time to discuss with me about my health condition not just limited to mentally but also my work and personal life. A doctor who can be dependent on and fully trustworthy if you have any problems with anxiety, depression and bipolar, etc. (I have all these problems but am feeling so much better after being his patient for close to 2 years).

lacking in promptness, no follow up, waits weeks to have a nurse return a call regarding refills on basic mental prescriptions, and passive aggressive in person. Worst experience and lack of consideration for his patients.

I'm a registered nurse that took an honor class in abnormal psychology, but even I needed a bit of support from a psychiatrist in order to get me back on track. So far, I have nothing but great things to say about this Doctor. He is so caring, kind, patient and wants to really likes to get to know you. He won't rush you and won't be rushing to give you a diagnosis or a 'stamp' in any way, shape or form. If anything, he'll go the extra mile to ensure that what he think what is going on is really related to one thing, and not to something else. I've taken an additional test to rule something out related to my diagnosis, and while on medication my blood work was checked to make sure I'm all up to par with the norms. When I'm ready to take mind altering drugs that might have some major/minor side effects, I really like the idea that I'm looked at as more than just an experiment, or 'just another patient'. Dr Kobeissi has never given me that feeling. I feel that he truly cares about his… patients as much as the fact that he takes pride in being an amzing, caring, professional psychiatrist with excellent bedside manner. I never felt weird sharing anything personal with Dr. Kobeissi. He is just wonderful. I highly recommend him. : )

Dr. Kobeissi is spectacular. He usually spends about an hour with me on my visits, depending on what's going on. He is smart, funny, caring, compassionate, and not a pill-pusher. He really tries to see what kind of attention you need, whether it be pharmacological or therapy. I am a bit spoiled now because if I was to ever be in a situation where I could not see this doctor I would be upset, and now have very high standards because of him. He's that good! Overall - I'm very happy with the care I get from this doctor and would recommend him to anyone!
