Dr. Jamal Mcclendon Jr., MD

The absolute worst thing I can say and what I dislike the most about Dr McClendon is that he is not a primary care physician and he's not a specialty doctor in every field there is that I need because Dr. McClendon is the best dr. I've ever had. He did a spinal fusion and reconstructive surgery on me last summer along with several other corrections to my back. He was my last hope to correct a disaster that another dr made of me and several other drs wouldn't touch. He's down to earth, unlike any other dr. I've ever seen. To him, my surgery is his job. To me, it is my life, which he gave back to me. He made my back better than my first surgery I had at 14 yrs old, which was along time ago for me. He's just an amazing doctor with a great personality. I have a very low opinion of drs after being seen at the Cleveland Clinic for years and having several bad experiences with them. That being said, I'd trust Dr. McClendon with my life, and did. I'd recommend him to anyone needing a… neurosurgeon. I fly over 2,000 miles away just to see him for every appt. I have with him. A better dr. you will never find!!

Dr. McClendon is an excellent Neurosurgeon. I had surgery with him in 2017 and I'll be forever grateful for his care and attention.

Outstanding Surgeon!! Extremely easy to work with. Very caring took excellent care of daughter. He was above and beyond on responsiveness. Overall one of the best doctors we have ever worked with.

Dr McClendon explains very well and is very supportive. He will answer any questions and is very sympathetic and easy to talk to. Did an excellent job on my daughter's surgery.
