This was my first visit to DR Amontree. Great Experience. He listen to my concerns. explored my treatment, and corrected my previous DR mistreatment. He had read through my file prior to seeing me. He was frank and direct. One of the best DR appointments I have had (and I have a lot)

Dr. James Amontree took the time to explain and discuss my problem, answer my questions candidly and walk me through the surgical procedure and aftermath--all the time showing great respect for me as a patient. I had already heard this praise from others and it was one of my main reasons for choosing him. The follow-up with my wife at the hospital was immediate and likewise thorough. Dr. Amontree punctured my colon during a colonoscopy without realizing it. When I started to come out of the anesthetic he told me everything was normal. Despite my complaints of pain he sent me home rather than monitoring my condition. Later that day when the pain became severe I was taken to the hospital where exploratory emergency surgery was performed. Months later I learned he collected a fee from Medicare and my supplement adding insult to injury.

Dr. Amontree found a very large mass in my colon that he was not able to take out himself so referred me to another Dr.. I was very pleased with his bedside manner. He took time to explain every thing and answer questions.

I liked that he sat down with me and listened. He took time to listen and did the appropriate testing.

Did not care about treating me for any of my illnesses; horrible bedside manner.

Your mind you be at ease. Someone you can trust! Staff is wonderful.

I wish I could find more Doctors who cared and treated me like Dr. Amontree and nurse Ruth. Thank you for your great care! God bless you all for all you have done for me and my family! You are the BEST!!!
