My care provider is Dr. James Andersen. I met him 23 years ago when I was a breast cancer patient at City of Hope. At the time, Dr. James Andersen performed my breast cancer reconstructive surgery. Since that time, any time any care provider saw the work Dr. James Andersen did on my breast, they unanimously told me that he has done a great job. Dr. James Andersen is very professional, attentive, and caring. To have his professional care, I will follow him anywhere.

I work at City of Hope and could easily have chosen my care there. That said, James Anderson is by far not only the best surgeon technically, but he is also a kind a compassionate physician. Furthermore, his explanations of options/outcomes/ procedures is excellent.

Dr Andersen is thorough and listens to my concerns. I'm thankful to have him as my doctor. I only had issues with the front office.

Dr James Anderson at City of Hope performed immediate reconstruction after my double mastectomy and the results were beyond my wildest hopes and expectations. My “before and after” pictures look virtually the same. He is a master at his craft and I 100% recommended him. I will be forever grateful to him.

Dr Anderson was my surgeon 14 years ago and i still feel he is one of the kindest, caring person i have ever met. I had a right breast reconstruction which looks amazing. Definitely recommend him. One dr. Told me he was the best in the universe!

Dr Andersen has been ahhhmazing! He did my breast reconstruction after a double mastectomy and I couldn't be happier with the results. He is thorough, thoughtful, humble and generous both with his time and experience. Him and all the staff at City of Hope have been a dream team to work with!

Not only is he an excellent surgeon, but he takes time to make sure he is thorough and listens to you! Not many Doctors listen. My surgery took about 20 hours...because he didn't give up!! My surgery should not have been successful due to something beyond his control, but Dr. Andersen didn't walk away because he knew he could fix me... And he did! Thank You to a great Doctor and a great Man!!
