Dr. James C. Anderson, Iv, MD

Dr. Anderson is wonderful, but his front office staff (receptionist) leaves something to be desired. They are very cold, and unwelcoming. They always come across (demeanor) like you are bothering them. If you are a receptionist, your job is to receive the patient (customer). Without us, you have no reason to be there.

Caring, compassionate, intelligent. Wonderful with the children and the parents. Knows when to get tough with a kid (straight talk when needed) and knows when and how to show care and compassion. He has been in my children's lives for 14 years and I know my family is the better for it. A fine doctor, a fine father, a fine man.

My child have been visiting Dr. Anderson for 10 years. Excellent doctor, very friendly and polite. We have never experienced any problems with this office. Many of our friends take their children to him too. Highly professional nurses and office personnel. I would highly recommend this pediatrian.

At first I was impressed by Dr. James Anderson. He spoke softly and was thorough with my children. This wasnt the case after our second child became a patient. Our daughter was born with a kidney disease and became extremely ill at nine months old. After a day a HP regional she wasn't reacting well to their treatments and they didn't seem logical. I requested many times for Dr. Anderson to call me so I could get another opinion but he refused to speak to me. After leaving AMA for Baptist hospital he still refused contact. Baptist was relieved she came in and said they were doing everything wrong. A few days later at a check up, we were asked to leave the practice because we got a second opinion. Dr. Anderson told me he was unavailable after hours and we had no right. I am completely disgusted with this sham of a doctor.

We chose this office after moved to high point area do to the fact that it is in network with our insurance company and Dr.James C Anderson seemed to be very knowledgible in the first visit and we were pleased with his first visit. However, our first experiences in this office were not so good. The office staff was not friendly and not compassionate to my kids at all! Then, when seeing Dr.James C Anderson he became very condescending and rude in all of his explanations. I am not sure if he thinks everyone surrounding him is an idiot or if he is just oblivious to how he sounds when speaking to people. Also, from the 2nd visit to the present. I would not recommend this office to anyone, and actually am surprised that Dr.James C Anderson is still practicing with the attitude he has toward his patients.

Dr. James Anderson is the epitome of what the public wants in a Pediatrician. He is kind to the children and parents. He delivers hard to hear news in a professional manner and is always truthful. I have known him since he came to town many years ago and would recommend him to anyone with a tot.
