Dr. James Allen Auerbach, MD

Always waited a minimum of 1 hour to see him. Spent time with each patient but never really listened to concerns. Shared private patient matters with other patients (violating privacy rights, HIPAA). I've been waiting 4 months for Dr A to send my file to a new primary, meanwhile I have no doctor with major medical concerns.

Knowledgeable. Helpful. Personable. Spends above average time getting to know patient as he tries to resolve medical problems. Successfully treated several problems with holistic medicine. However, in my 7 years seeing the doctor, he has never been on time for an appointment, even when I was the first appointment of the day. Average waiting times often exceed 1 hour. He is behind 6+ months in transcribing notes for my medical record. Thus far, he is 30+ days behind in providing my medical records to another physician. The doctor does not appear to devote sufficient attention to administrative aspects of his practice.
