Dr. James Scott Bainbridge, MD

I have been patient over two years and have seen Dr. Bainbridge twice (first two appointments). Since than I have seen Jaden. The last time he did’t like the medications my pyschiatrist prescribed. instead I should see a Cognnitive Psychologist. That is not his business!! He isn’t even a Dr.. He gave me a prescription for pain pills for a month and he will contact my Pyschiatrist. I am very upset and probably won’t go back! I don’t want pain pills and take them as little as possible. I am not a canidadate for surgery.

He is amazing! Front desk is knowledgeable and friendly!

I have been a patient of Dr. Bainbridge for approximately 8 years. In 2014 I was involved in a MVA. This accident placed me in a position where I was unable to perform my job. This has been a difficult time for me both physically and emotionally. Dr. Bainbridge has been a blessing. He takes his time with me no how long it takes. He has a busy practice so him spending prolonged periods of time with me addressing my issues shows me that he truly cares for his patients. His staff is fantastic and are always helpful, courteous, and well informed. I have had numerous doctors over the last several years and Dr. Bainbridge is far and above one of the best.

Couldn't get an appointment with Dr. Bainbridge, saw instead is PA, was suggested I receive a steroid injection. Went to receive the steroid injection at the surgical center and was told it would not benefit me that I needed spinal fusion by Dr. Bainbridge, waste of my time out of work plus I had to pay for the clinic services of $176.40.

Gave me a a good exam, didn't know what was really wrong and suggested an SI Joint injection, costing me $2,000 after insurance and a day off of work. I decided to fly to Johns Hopkins - costed me less, and found out I have a fractured Sacrococcygeal ligament, Dr. Bainbridge knew I fell snowboarding on sacrum but never ordered imaging of the sacrum or tailbone. I had ONE platelet rich plasma injection done at Hopkins into the ligament and it STOPPED my pain and also stopped my right hip from clicking. I will NEVER go back to Dr. Bainbridge and will continue to fly out of state if needed. The sad thing is he has NO clue what happened to me, doesn't care, NO follow up - I feel he RUSHED me into something I didn't need. My MRI that the Hopkins Dr ordered of Sacrum showed no abnormalities of the SI Joints, I would have gone through that injection for NOTHING. I wish he would have NOT wasted my time, ordered the imaging and got to the root cause of the problem.

I saw Dr. Bainbridge for multiple problems with my back and hip. He sorted them out and developed a treatment plan that included physical therapy and a steroid muscle injection. I have had marked improvement in all of my symptoms and have been discharged from his care. He and his staff are very professional and caring.

Been a patient for years and seen the quality degrade over time. I'm a challenging case on the best of days and have been shuffled around to a bunch of newbies. Then when it comes time to give the injections he questions their decision making right there in front of me. When I mentioned hesitation at this, he actually raised his voice at me, in front of my husband as a witness and implied that I lied to the newbie I had been working with. Completely unacceptable behavior from a doctor. I'm a patient, I'm allowed to question my care. I did so in a respectful manner and was met with disrespect. Will be finding a new doctor now.

this doc is in and out of the room in less than 15 minutes(was my first appointment and assessment). Doesn't want to really listen to your concerns or answer questions. Some of the Office staff are rude and make very little effort to accommodate their patients.. I felt like we were cattle being rushed in and out. Very disappointed in everything--I won't be coming back. I felt like this doc and his staff were there to make as much money as possible not real invested in patient care. due to so few doc's doing pain management these days I guess they can get away with sub par care. The staff look unhappy and act that way too.

Dr Bainbridge is the exceptional caring Doctor. He even makes personal follow-up phone calls to your home on those occasions when he knows your concerns are important. Even during after hours or on weekends.

The doctor always seemed nervous whenever I had an appointment with him. He performed a procedure on me and did not even come out and tell my spouse how everything went or anything. He was pricked by a needle when doing the procedure and his main concern was me getting tested to make sure he was okay, not was I okay from the procedure. I have chronic pain and he put me on a new medication. I did not like how I was feeling on it and called 3 times within 10 days and he never called me back until I told him I was leaving his practice. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! Beware!
