Helped me and took great care of my medical needs when it seemed impossible to find anyone who cared to take the time and deal with my issues.

General medicine and chronic headaches. When he failed to recognize the problem causing my headaches, he told me it was all in my mind, get over it, you need to see a psychiatrist. I never went back to him and finally received relief from my headaches.

My husband and I both saw him and were not impressed. He went on and on about old war stories and was there to chat not address our concerns. He spent a lot of time with us, but it was all him talking about the war. We had to continually ask "What about my eczema" and he'd touch on it and then move away from the topic. He prescribed me my husband's ulcer meds which I am allergic to. This shows what little attention he paid to the actual reason why we were there. We both had new patient visits and never went back. The second time after 45 minutes we stood up and told him WE were on a tight schedule...not use to cutting a dr off. He was very friendly, but had no concern for why we were there. I saw him about my dizziness and his comment was "some people just aren't meant to feel good all the time"...wth.

Simply put....a GREAT, CARING DOCTOR!

Dr. Beck has been our family doctor for over 26 years! He has taken care of my husband and I and our 7 kids since before our 25 year old daughter was born. I trust his judgement and integrity, and the benefit of staying with the same doctor is that he really knows you. We don't have to start all over again every time we go to a doctor. He probably saved my father's life by diagnosing an abdominal aneurysm and sending him straight to the hospital. He is more to us than a doctor, he is a friend.
