Dr Beckner cared more about husbands desire for a epidural than my desire for a natural delivery !

5 stars. very respectful, thorough., comforting, knowledgeable

He never listened to my concerns or took them seriously. I wish I had changed doctors much sooner than I did. I do not trust his judgement. He can also be very condescending.

Wonderful physician and staff

I had been having problems for a few months now. I was finally sent to Dr. Beckner because surgery was needed. At first I thought I was going to love Dr. Beckner and all his staff. (I gave 1 star for the staff.) I was wrongly told about a procedure I had done and had to go back for another procedure..This was when I seen a different side. I felt EVERYTHING and even cried out on the table. By the next day I was in the ER hurting worse than ever before. Surgery was close at hand and to late to get a 2nd opinion. I was told by Dr. Buckner's nurse that surgery would be a "cure all" and to deal with my pain. I was excited to get it over with and get on with my life. Unknown to me at the time, my body didn't take to having surgery and I needed more help with my pain and nausea. Instead of helping me manage my pain I kept getting told to go to the ER (who kept finding something different every time I went). Called numerous times for help and didn't get it. When I finally went to my set appt.… I was still complaining about pain and nausea. I overheard him talking in the hall to his assistant about me. He ended up sending her in to my room, I was getting angry at this point that he didn't even want to deal with me as his patient. After speaking to her and telling her I felt like there was a stitch in me, she talked to Dr. Beckner and they decided to check me. They said I did not have stitches. I wasn't very happy at all with his bedside manners! He was rude, rough, and did not care about me nor did he want to deal with me. Two days later as I was taking a shower I felt something poking me.. I felt inside and it was something hard. Finally was able to get it out and it was a stitch!! (Where did that come from?!?!?) I would not recommend this Doctor for surgery especially if you're the type who takes longer than normal to heal. I have been in so much pain I finally went back to my PCP and was finally able to get her to help me. I will NEVER go back to this Doctor again!

Dr Beckner was the first ob/gyn to find a problem i had 7 yrs ago. I still see him annually and he has taken good care of me over the years. It's nice to have a dr as caring as he is

Dr. Beckner is a very easy going,likable and intelligent physician. I have recommended him to both friends and family. :)

I've seen Dr. Beckner durning both my pregnancies!! He was great! I will never go anywhere else!! Easy to talk to and doesn't make you feel dumb for asking questions!
