Dr. James Michael Bell, MD

I needed to make an appointment with my personal doctor because I was experiencing a rash from an antibiotic that I was taking. My doctor was going to be out of the office, but made arrangements for me to see Dr. Bell that day. I received a call from the nurse stating the Dr. Bell had cancelled the appointment and told be to go to the emergency room. Given that my appointment was only a couple of hours from then, I asked to speak with Dr. Bell. He refused to speak with me. Obviously if my doctor thought that my condition was serious, I would have been told at that time to go to the emergency room. I ended up going to a Walk-in clinic where I received a shot. If I would have gone to the emergency room, it would have cost a lot more than the walk-in and a lot more tests, not mentioning a complete waste of time. I found his response and refusal to even speak with me to be completely unprofessional, especially if he actually thought that I needed to go directly to the emergency room.

This guy stared at computer, asked questions already answered in chart, and did no hands on exam for routine physical. My ears and throat weren't even checked.
