Dr. James Wallace Bennett, MD

MY NOW 9 MONTH OLD HAS BEEN GOING TO CAPITOLA PEDIATRICS SINCE HER 5TH DAY OF LIFE. WE CHOSE THIS OFFICE BECAUSE OF THE "SMALL TOWN FEEL" AFTER TOURING THE OFFICE AND MEETING WITH DOCTOR BENNETT I KNEW THIS WAS THE PLACE FOR US, THEN... OUR LITTLE ONE WAS BORN AND WE SPENT LOTS OF TIME IN THE OFFICE AND HAVE GROWN TO LOVE EACH ONE OF THE NURSES WHO CARE FOR OUR LITTLE AS IF SHE WAS RELATED TO THEM. YES, WAITS ARE SOMETIME A PROBLEM WITH SPECIFIC DOCTORS BUT WELL WORTH IT. THE STAFF NOW KNOW WHO I AM WHEN I CALL BEFORE GIVING MY NAME (DONT KNOW IF THATS GOOD OR NOT :)) BUT I LIKE IT AND IT SHOWSD THEY CARE ABOUT KNOWING YOU MORE THAN AN APPOINTMENT.I RECOMMND THEM TO EVERYONE I KNOW WHO IS PREGNANT OR NEEDING A NEW DOCTOR.

I get that insurance billing can be complicated, I really do. However, this billing office is downright awful...to the point where we are considering switching practices. They have faulty practices/procedures in place, is the most disorganized, inaccurate, and non-responsive office I've ever dealt with.

Love Dr. Bennett. Excellent bedside manor. Really takes an interest in your child and how they are doing. Agree with others that he rocks but the office staff is terrible. They just want your money and don't really care about your privacy. Complaining does no good. It seams to fall on deaf ears. Office used to be very child friendly, but now it is very clinical. Wish staff was nicer.

Dr. Bennett was wonderful. His staff is horrible though. You'd be lucky if they knew your child's name. All they care about it how you plan to pay for the visit. Forget about making any complaints too. The office manager is the worst out of all of them. Very "clinic" type environment. I want more of a "private practice".
