Dr. James C. Berman, MD

Truly a professional who knows what he's talking about, makes you feel like he's completely in it with you. I disagree with the comments labelling him as arrogant, I think you are confused with arrogance and someone who is truly confident in his craft. Highly recommend if your really ready to make life changes. He gives you the tools and what you can expect down to the minute, which was very comforting to me in my experience with him. I am now sober and off all medications, yet he still checks in...

Dr Berman is a specialist in getting people off of opioids. I went to him for this. When I first walk in to meet him,all of the lights are out Because he says that he has "kaleidoscope vision" ok a little odd but who cares. He then tells me everything about myself and my addiction without asking me a word about my thoughts or feelings. He then takes care of me and helps me to get off meds with suboxone. He encourages me to hurry hurry hurry to stop subox or it will only be harder. So I stop and then develop something that I was never told about: post acute withdrawal syndrome. It leaves you feeling broken, depressed, low energy and miserable. So I relapsed. A few months later when I called dr B to help me again he spoke to me in a mean condescending flip tone. It would be implosive to let such an arrogant jerk treat me again. So I did it with another doctor. And I am now sober.

I would like to give Dr. James Berman a 5 star review! I called him to make an appointment to see him. He spent 25 minutes on the phone helping me out and answering my questions, and I wasn't even a patient of his yet. I found him to be compassionate and informative. It was clear to me after this consultation, that Dr. Bernan is a doctor who cares about what he does and wants to make a difference in people's lives. I recommend anyone in need of his specialty to seek his care.

I have been through several treatment programs (as most addicts have) and Dr. Berman's is the best anyone could ever ask for. Look no further. I mean this from the bottom of my heart. If you have found Dr. Berman then you are already ahead of the game. I owe my life to him.
