Dr. James Ranjet Bhaskar, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Bhaskar for over 6 years now. He always takes his time and listens making sure you feel good about the treatment offered.

I never have to wait more than 10 minutes.

Sent me for expensive - and incorrect type of - imaging, and never followed up.

Dr. Bhaskar has good intentions to help the patient but overall experience ends up being sub-par in the last two visits. One does not leave the doctor's office feeling content and confident with the doctor visit, diagnosis and overall experience. It is more of a cheesy, quick, drive-thru like experience unfortunately. Also the staff around the office seems incompetent. While they try to assure you they understood you and things will be taken care of, the net result is failure. I am yet to get my prescribed medicine two days after the doctor visit. Who knows where they ordered my medicine. This even after verbal reminders while I was at the office (regarding the location of the Walgreens store I need to pick up my medicine) and first attempt fails.. no medicine there. Calling them, giving them the address one more over the phone at 1:00pm, and then visiting the Walgreens at 7:00pm that day, still no medicine! :( Sad.. I would not recommend to this any of my friends.. therefore this… review...

In the past few years I have traveled from Bellevue to Kirkland whenever I needed to see my Primary Care Provider, Dr. James Bhasker. This isnâ??t the most convenient set-up, but it has the advantage of enabling me to see a physician who is always familiar with whatever medical issue I bring to him. His medical knowledge is extensive. He is extremely quick on the uptake and makes very sure that he understands all the things that you tell him. He has a great sense of humor and at the same time is a caring and focused doctor. ANDâ?¦.Heâ??s almost always right on time.

Dr. Bhaskar was great with my 12 year old son, listening carefully to what he had to say. My son is asthmatic and has been since birth. Dr. Bhaskar was very respectful that we have been living with this diseases for 12 years and listened to what worked for my son. I would reccommend him and will be making him my son's primary care physician.

I went in to the practice during bad snow and was one of a very small number of patients who made it in. Dr Bhasker did not listen to me and had to keep going out, he made a mistake with a regular prescription and misdiagnosed the problem. After I asked him further questions, he stopped and actually read my notes and then corrected his diagnosis. He does always have time to sell the benefits of an annual physical. Worst primary care physician experience I have ever had.

Dr Bhaskar has a excellent bed side manner and listens to my medical problems and addresses them with his best opinion and has been very helpful with my continuing medical problems. He will often follow up with a call from his staff or himself. I feel he is one of the better doctors in the Kirkland area

Dr. Bhaskar and his assistant Shirley, graciously treated me after hours on a Friday. Their professionalism, compassion, and decisive action resolved my condition and prevented much suffering and a trip to the emergency room over the weekend. In the worst case, death may have even resulted had they not taken the time to see me. My family and I are deeply indebted to them for their outstanding, selfless, service.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bhaskar's for 16 years now. I arrived at the Totem Lake Family Medicine (TLFM) office this morning, having scheduled my appointment an hour earlier, which is located in a 5-story newer medical office located near 405 and Evergreen hospital. As soon as I entered the doctor's office, I immediately saw a waiting room packed with people and figured since yesterday was a holiday everyone was probably waiting till today to get in. I checked in with the receptionist, sat down and observed quickly one by one, patients were being called back to see their respective doctors not having to wait long at all. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment and at exactly 10am, the nurse called me back to an examination room and began writing down notes of my symptoms. A few minutes later Dr. Bhaskar arrived.Dr. Bhaskar is and will always be my doctor because he's just really caring, very accurate and I trust him completely. He takes the time to understand your… symptoms and discusses possible diagnosis openly with you, then tells you how he will treat you. I recommend him to anyone and everyone looking for a rockstar primary care doctor which you can trust and who really cares wholeheartedly about his patients - not to mention he always nails the problem and fixes it! I have been his patient for several years and have referred countless number of family members and friends to him who are all his patients today. The clinic and staff is great, there's ample parking and the receptionist and nurses are very nice. It is consistently a positive experience for me.Best Doctor Ever.
