Dr. James Richard Bland, MD

He did radiation on My husband, & he was very thorough & extremely nice to both of us. His staff was likewise, very nice & professional. If I ever had another family member needing an oncologist, I would send them straight to him. He's that great!!

Richie was already this bad when he was in high school. Ask him about the time when he was caught cheating on a Western Civ test by our teacher, Jerry Caldwell. Richie was looking at the test answers of another student who was sitting next to him during a test. Of course when confronted he denied having done anything wrong. He said to the teacher, "What did you see? I didn't do anything. You are interferring with me taking this test." Caldwell said that he saw Richie looking over at Holt Simmons test answers. Caldwell told Richie to put down his pencil because he just made a zero on the test. Richie responded by saying that he and Holt study together so whatever he knows Holt knows, so it was okay for him to look at Holt's answers." At this point Caldwell had heard enough. He told Richie to get up from his desk and come with him to the Principal's office. Richie finally exercised some common sense and did as he was told. After the left the classroom the rest of us in the… classroom resumed working on answering our test questions. Interestingly, Caldwell put no one else in charge of monitoring us during the time he was gone from the classroom.

He SEVERELY burned organs around the target and could care less. Stay away!

THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE AND NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. THEY SPEAK TO YOU AS IF YOU'RE THE SCUM OF THE EARTH.

This man is VERY impressed with himself...a micro-manager who should be fired from Tanner! He doesn't know what he is doing...and actually put down my cancer surgeon as not knowing anything. He is controlling and not very smart. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COSTS!

I have tried to report Dr. Bland to Tanner Medical but so far they have done nothing about it. He acts like he really doesn't care about his patients even when their lives are at risk. He routinely fails to inform me about the treatment of my illness and makes it hard to learn what medicines he is giving me. He is not very professional and I am afraid that he will harass me if I seek out a second opinion. I hope that I live long enough to use the Kanzius RF cancer machine some day. Maybe that machine will eliminate the need for oncologists altogether and help get people like Dr. Bland out of the medical profession.
