Dr. James Roy Bonner, MD

I have been taking my children to him since 2001 and highly recommend Dr. Bonner and my favorite nurse, Brenda. Dr. Bonner is brilliant! He has always been very cautious when anything has come up with my children. He has a good bedside manner in my opinion. Dr. Bonner was great to me as a new mom explaining things in detail. My daughter was born with a birth defect. When I got the phone call from the hospital about it, they knew i was upset., Shortly after the call with the hospital Dr. Bonner called me on his day off. I think he was even at the beach as I could hear the background noise. He was so reassuring and calming to me. I am forever grateful for that. My daughter has since outgrown the birth defect. My son is off to college and I'm sad he won't have Dr. Bonner for much longer as he is a pediatrician. I cannot say enough good things about him. The bad review must've caught him on a bad day. Don't we all have them? I can say I feel 100% confident of him treating my children. I… wouldn't go to anyone else.

He’s very patient and answers questions very thoroughly.

My kids have been part of this practice for a couple of years. We have only seen Collen Ryan- Mancini ( she is wonderful) however, my son was recently ill. We had never met Dr Bonner. Upon entering the room he did not greet my son or I. He immediately told me what my son did not have, BEFORE even examining him. He has very poor beside manner, he was arrogant and condescending through out the entire appointment. I ended up having to go back to the walk in the following day for my son to be checked b/c his symptoms were worse. I will never let my kids go back to him. and am changing practice because Dr. Bonner is very unprofessional, and clearly lacks empathy for his pediatric patients

he relates to the kids so well and they love to go see him. he takes time to explain things very thoroughly.

Dr Bonner is a great pediatrician. i feel very comfortable with his knowledge base. He allows me to play a part in my children's health, not just telling me what to do. He is open to trying things and though sometimes he does not suggest more alternative options for treatment, he does have knowledge of them and supports my choices when it comes to my children's health. The nurses are great and very friendly and caring.The only issue I have with the office is the front desk staff, they are not very welcoming or caring and there seems to be a just a general lack of people skills, as they always seem bothered to have to help you. I find it annoying to have to deal with them.

Dr. Bonner is my angel. I feel so fortunate to have found him when I was pregnant with my first child. I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. I was devastated when the hospital informed me that my daughter had a birth defect. Dr. Bonner called me on a weekend while spending time with his family. He was very considerate and calmed me down. He made me feel much better about my daughter's condition. He is always very informative to the parent and great with my children. I wish I could find a doctor for ME like him. He is always right on with diagnosing my kids. He is awesome for a first time parent or any parent. I cannot say enough good about Dr. Bonner.
