He has a great bedside manner and friendly staff. Easy going and extremely competent, discourse with Dr. Boogaerts is mutually respectful. It’s also noteworthy that he spent plenty of time with me discussing lifestyle impacts on heart health. I highly recommend Dr. Boogaerts.

After going in to my student health clinic, I was given a tentative POTS diagnosis but was told to see a cardiologist. They sent me to Dr. Boogearts. He did an echo and a week long heart monitor. After those results came in, he saw me for maybe 10 minutes to go over them and told me that my heart randomly goes into tachycardia but that I would be fine. Mind you this was after multiple fainting spells and 2 concussions caused by falls from these episodes. He did nothing more than that and sent me on my way. He made me feel like I was being over dramatic and was simply making all of my symptoms up. After another 3 months and appointments with 2 additional doctors who were willing to give me back some quality of life I finally have answers.
