Dr. James T Brocksmith, DO

I have been a patient of Dr. Brocksmith's for about 6 or 7 years now. He ALWAYS takes time to answer my questions. He gives me education and logic regarding whatever complicated medical issue I am having. The nurses call me back promptly if I leave a message on the nurses line. Nurse Practioner Breshears is also amazing. If I cannot get in to see Dr. Brocksmith quickly, I can always count on her to be seen quickly.

This office is administratively inept. Couldn’t even talk to anyone about an appointment as they never returned call. I spoke to a voicemail several times. This isn’t how to operate a medical practice; it’s how to ruin one. Won’t be pursuing further.

Dr Brocksmith only sees his patients once a year. If you call back for an appointment you can see the nurse practioner if she is in. Otherwise they tell you to go to Urgent Care or ER.

Very friendly, thorough and professional. Answered questions before I even brought them up.

Dr. Brocksmith is a very fine doctor and I would highly recommend him to any friend or family member. Unfortunately, his office staff degrades his quality and professionalism of his practice.

You can never call and talk to anyone at this office. It is always leave your name and number and wait. To refill your scripts is especially a problem .. they say give them 24 hours and that has been a joke! Gets pretty old going to pharmacy after end of business day when it should have been called in and nothing there. And next day calling every few hours and still not there. Then you call back to office and leave more messages! Very annoying! Great doctor but office system needs attention!

The most outstanding, caring physician I have had the privilege to know. Very thorough, makes sure he answers all concerns. Explains well, and is honest. This physician is so awesome, that I am happy to travel 1 1/2 hours to see him. Do not be afraid his Nurse Practioner, Kathy, who is every bit as awesome as Dr Brocksmith. This team is a blessing to Columbia and far reaching communities. I feel that I owe my life to these two individuals

Dr Brocksmith has respect for his patients, is honest and takes the time to refer to whomever he feels can resolve special needs. He LISTENS!!, and does not rush one out the door. This man is awesome, and I sooo appreciate him, along with his dedicated staff.

This office is very good. Kathy the nurse pratitioner is above excellent so is Dr Brocksmith. He is patient and explains whatever you want to know. Not many doctors like him anymore.
