Dr. James Patrick Brooks, MD

After 2 months of having stomach pain I ended up in the hospital. That is when I met Dr Brooks. My condition was such that my only chance was surgery.God bless this man that saved my life. He was very straight forward about the entire process. He spent time explaining in detail what he wanted to do. My family and I were very impressed with him and his skills as a surgeon. Trust me, he's the doctor you want if you need this type of procedure.

I was referred to Dr Brooks by the ER for gall bladder surgery. That was at the hospital so I will not answer some questions, such as wait time at his office. When I met with Dr Brooks he spent a lot of time discussing my options. In the end, I decided not to have the surgery. He told me I would probably need it eventually but I could wait and see and, if it is necessary, I can schedule a convenient time.

My husband has been in severe pain and went to Dr. Brooks and he wouldn't do anything for him and said percocet was the strongest meds he ever gives for even major surgeries.He wouldn't give him anything stronger.Really does he think people are stupid and think that there's nothing stronger.Don't ever go to him and don't take any of your family to him.

Performed two colposcopy and was awake thru both. Very painful to the point that I began thinking he enjoyed inflicting pain. Did not complete the mission. Said, he did all the colon except for an inch. Rescheduled another in a year. I'll be a no show!

Dr. Brooks saved my life - more than once! There aren't words to describe what he did for my family... he's our hero. He's done 7 surgeries of mine (out of 12) for cancer/port/gall bladder. He doesn't give up on you, and he isn't afraid of tough cases like some surgeons. He's intelligent, kind, funny, a little bossy, and really really good at what he does. A million stars if I could!!
