Dr. James A Brouillette, MD

We've been taking our 3 children here for over 2 years. I'm rating this 5 stars because of Dr. B. If he weren't so good and attentive with the kids, we would have left due to the front office staff. I am smiling every time I go in, and am kind to the staff, but they almost all seem to be having a bad day every. Single. Day. I honestly don't know why someone would hold a job being the first face you see at a practice with as many reviews stating how rude and unpleasant they all are. Dr. B's reviews should be all about him, and not have to touch on the front office staff.

Dr. Brouillette was fantastic. I always felt that my children were well cared for. He is kind, patient, attentive, and seems extremely knowledgeable. He listens to you and is very understanding and helpful. Phenomenal.

I find the front desk staff rude and cold. I realize everyone has a bad day but its every time I visit the office. My first appointment was scheduled for 10am and we were not seen for over an hour and 10 minutes. The voicemail confirmed 10am however we must have been bumped back to 11:15am and it was never communicated...even when we checked in at 10am with a newborn. Dr Jim is very nice and helpful. However I am looking to leave due to the rudeness of the staff. No warm fuzzy feelings here.

Staff is horrible!!! Dealt with it for the last four years and it's not worth it. Dr. Jim does a good job and his nurse Nesha is excellent. The receptionists are the worst ever. I have had multiple appointments that I have showed up for (with both the appt card and reminder call on my voicemail stating the time) that they have claimed were for a different time and refused to see my child and when I have played the voicemail they said it wasn't them calling (its says the dr's office). They are very rude and unapologetic! Referrals take forever and you have to call and remind them over and over about doing it. Wish they would improve their staff so we could stay with practice!

Doc is courteous, professional, friendly.... everything the staff is not. If I didnt like Dr. B so much we would go somewhere else. Doc really is great though!

Dr. Jim never lets me walk out of his office without asking numerous times if there is anything else he hasnt covered I am concerned about... and makes sure I am satisfied before leaving. Never makes me feel rushed out of the office.

I moved to the area 4 years ago and have had a hard time finding a doctor for my children as most doctors either seem unprofessional, rude or just don't "click" right with our family. After giving birth to my son, the hospital gave me a list of doctors because he needed a pediatrician. I found doctor Jim after calling a few different doctors. I had to have my son into a newborn check up within a week and this was the first office i found with any openings within a week. I went in completely unsure of what to expect in our first visit and left there making appointments for my other 3 children as well. The office staff is horribly rude but I just try to avoid dealing with them whenever possible and when I have to deal with them i do whatever i need to do and then be on my way. dr jim is one of the best doctors in the lansing area in my opinion.

I love Dr. Jim and so does my child. He's patient, fun and great with the kids. He talks with the parents and gives as much time as needed with each visit. No feeling of rushing in and out of the rooms. Now the office staff on the other hand, are a not as nice. They are very snappy, rude and if it weren't for Dr. Jim we would have left this practice a long time ago.

Dr. Jim is so wonderful with my kids they feel comfortable with him because he takes the time to get to know them. He is always so very thorough and double checks that we understand the plan of care for our child and that we have no further questions. I feel confident when I leave the office because we've been going there long enough to know that we're receiving AWESOME care for our 2 kids.

I made an appointment for the initial patient visit and well child check up. After waiting almost an hour in the waiting room with un-separated sick children; my children were not even examined by a nurse or doctor. They were not weighed, measured, and even looked at.I called today to make an appointment for high fever, cough, and other flu symptoms. They refused to make an appointment for "flu like" symptoms. How do they not know my children do not have pneumonia, bronchitis, or another illness that does not need an antibiotic?I can see why children are dying from the H1N1 virus when their pedestrians are refusing to see them! This is the worst, most unprofessional practice I have even seen and heard of. Please Beware!!!!!
