I have been his patient for 15 years and I have never met a doctor that is so caring and understanding. He has never cared for me to call his after hours if I'm in the hospital and actually encourages it. He goes above and beyond for me every time. Contrary to previous ratings, Julie is not scared of him and they have an excellent working relationship.

Sometimes he seems very caring and other times grumpy. His nurses appear to be somewhat afraid of him. I hope I am wrong but my instincts are usually right on!

I have been seeing Dr. Burns since 1998 and do not have one complaint about him or his staff. I have found him to be an extremely caring physician who was always concerned when one of my medications began to fail me. I am not sure what I will do when he one day decides to retire!

Dr. Burns is very thorough, takes time to gather information from the patient to make his diagnosis.He is very tuned into his patients, sensitive, and caring.

I am a nurse, and I was very impressed with Dr Burns. He is a very kind person and takes enough time to understand your problem and answer your questions. He is who I refer my patients to. If you want a good doctor...ask a nurse!!!!

I tested positive for SLE lupus over five years ago and every time I was tested again ever since. Dr. Burns chose to not only ignore ALL of my painful symptoms, but he only saw me a few times since I was first diagnosed. Then he 'forgot' to put my positive test results in my records when I tried to find treatment from another doctor. Not good.

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Dr. Burns has made a difference in the quality of my life. He is professional, knowledgeable, and has an excellent bedside manner. I am always able to talk with staff when I need to and get a prompt response to questions or medications needed. There is never a long wait, you are in and out in a short period of time. He allows enough time for questions and never rushes you. Office costs are reasonable. I have been his patient for 4 years and highly recommend him.
