Dr. Butera is a model for other physicians . He is very compassionate , does not rush you during an appointment, listens to and answers your questions and makes sure you understand. He goes above and beyond and out of his way to assure you and to provide you with excellent health care . He has long waiting times for appointments and this is why.

met dr. butera when I took my mom for her appt with him. he is very caring, he make sure you understand everything, and over all he is such a nice, caring person to have for a dr.

He was very kind and explained every in detail about my diagnosis. He never talked down to me or rushed me. I always felt safe in his care. I am now in remission. I feel very fortunate to have Dr Butera as my Oncologist. NOT many doctors are like him. He never acts superior. He knows what he is doing and does it very well.you do not feel like just another patient, forgetable. I thank him.

I am the adult daughter of a cancer patient. My Mother suffers from Multiple Myeloma, and has been seeing Dr. Butera for many years now. He is kind, patient, empathetic and very knowledgable. He speaks to my Mom using language she is able to completely understand and is always sure to show me the results of her tests on the computer, so I can see the progress.He never makes her feel rushed and she cares deeply for him. She has tried to tell him many times that when something happens to her (she is 83), he is not to feel any guilt feelings; that he has done his best and she is grateful for the time he has added to her life.

Dr. Butera is one of the most intelligent physicians I have ever dealt with. He is kind, compassionate, and professional. He takes the time to get to know is patients. He never rushes through an exam, always will to answer any question you may have. He takes the time to call you personally with test results, never handing that task off to others. He saved my life and will always have a special place in my heart.
