Dr. James Foster Campbell, MD

Dr. Campbell has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. He has gotten me through many health issues, small and major. My husband also started seeing him 10 years ago as well as other friends we have referred. Dr. Campbell is thorough and knowledgeable and does a great job with senior citizens like us. He does not hesitate to refer us to specialists if the need arises. He got me to a hematologist, a rheumatologist, pain management, orthopedist, and mental health. He is really good about checking on lab work and meds. I don’t like going to the doctor, but from day one I have been comfortable keeping my appointments with him. I am glad he hasn’t retired yet! Centric is now located in a beautiful new building on Bolthouse road. The medical assistants are sweet gals who help in a variety of ways.

I am very angry. I received a call from your office today saying I have to come in FIRST to get an order to get an ultrasound. This is a waste of my valuable time. There is no way just looking at me is going to tell you what is going on inside my body. The way to do that is to have testing done first. Then you will be able to give me an educated diagnosis, then refer me to the proper specialist. So I have to ask myself ... WHY? Why would you not take advantage of giving an educated diagnosis from the onstart? The only logical answer is that you want to be able to bill my insurance for a useless appointment. This is where my anger stems from. That you (or Dr. Campbell) is more concerned about the economical impact than the CARE for your patient. My husband and I have been patients at your practice since 2008. Well no longer will we be your patients. We want a doctor who is a doctor because they have a heart to help others ... not themselves.

I don't know if I have ever been to a doctor that is so thorough. Dr Campbell takes the time to listen and will send you to a specialist if he is concerned about anything. Although I have only been seeing him less than a year, he has my trust. I have never been rushed through and when he sent me out for an mri, I got a call the next day sending me to a specialist. When I needed my records faxed, his staff did it right away. I have no complaints about Dr Campbell or his staff. I would highly recommend Dr Campbell. He has been a great dr.

Dr. Campbell is an excellent doctor. I have been with him for over 15-years and it has been a wonderful collaboration.

Thank god I found a doctor that actually listens to you and explains everything to you. He is a good doctor.

Dr Campbell has been our family physician for 17 years. He is a very caring doctor who has always been very accessible, even taking time to call us after hours to check on us. His staff is courteous and professional. I would highly recommend them.

The older lady is very rude in the front desk and I have never seen Dr. Campbell even though he is my assigned Dr. It is always a RNP that I have to see.

I have been taking my annual exams with Dr. Campbell for over 15 years. Generally a very uneventful event. Until one year when the good doctor felt something he didn't like in my stomach. He recommended that I have it ex rayed which began a series of diagnostic testing which lead to a cancer tumor found in my stomach cavity and another in my bladder. I will always be gratefully for Dr, Campbell's diligence in detecting this cancer. I am a 10 year cancer survivor thanks to Dr. Campbell and will always remain a loyal patient of his for as long as he remains in practice.

Dr. Campbell has been our family physician for at least 15 years, and I can not think of another family physician that can display the professionalism and caring that Dr. Campbell displays. Dr. Campbell is from the old school of medicine............he takes his time with you and he listens without rushing you to see the next patient. He is always on time and his staff is extremely professional.
