Dr. James Michael Carraher, MD

He cared for my Dad until he passed in 2014. I just heard that he retired. I also was a past patient of Dr. Carraher. Thanks for all your help for our family.

Just a terrible "doctor." Does not care about your health; only his own wallet. Will make it sound like your health is in extreme danger in order to run expensive tests and surgeries even though much cheaper and non-surgical options exist. Only cares about making money; not helping patients!

My entire family has been blessed to have Dr C be our doctor. My husband and I have been his patients for about 30 Years. He delivered both of our children and taken care of them too. Great doctor. Continues to be.

Dr. Carraher is a careful and thorough doctor, never prescribes unnecessary medications or procedures. He is caring and carefully listens to understand exactly what I am saying. He makes me feels like I am the only person he has to administer to while I am with him.

He recommended unnecessary surgery and now my health is much worse than it was before I met with him. Afterward he denied a follow up visit. He didn't treat the underlying issue, but, instead pressured me into surgery to address the symptom. Now I am the one who has to live with the negative consequences of his ignorance. My health is much worse because of him.

Simply put Dr Carraher is the very best there is!!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Carraher's for years now and I would never go to anyone else as my primary caregiver. He is kind, compassionate and very thorough when dealing with me and my problem health. I will absolutely swear that he has saved my life on two occasions and continues to do so. (He has also saved my husband's life. I am sure of it.)

I have been seeing Dr. James Carraher since the age of 2, my daughter has been seeing him since birth. I have never met a single doctor like Dr.Carraher. He bends over backwards to ensure patients are well taken care of, researches things he is not familiar with, makes weekend calls to ensure an extremely sick patient is feeling better after seeing them, and has always referred my family and I to the best specialists in the city whenever treatment was out of his realm of practice. If he had room to accept them all, I would refer everyone I knew to Dr.Carraher for their PCP needs.

I have always boasted about Dr. Carraher to all my friends in the past, but at my last couple of visits with him he left me frustrated. I feel like he is always in a hurry. He's headed for the door before I've had a chance to ask him all my questions. He use to call me to see how I was doing and no longer does that. Qwick to send me off to another Dr. so I guess he doesn't have as much paperwork!? Wonder if he is believing my pain that I'm describing to him.

Dr. Carraher is excellent. My only problem is with his office nurse, who could use a course in communication and professionalism. Unfortunately each interaction I have with the nurse is the same (and for my husband too). Otherwise, the place is great, and I still tell all my friends to go there.
