He went on to graduate from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1983 with a D.M.D. Degree. Dr. Cassidy has been in the private practice of general dentistry since 1983.
Dr. Cassidy is married to the former Wendy Merkert of Savannah, Georgia. They have two sons, Jimmy and Charlie, and live in Macon. A member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dr. Cassidy has been a member of St. Joseph’s Parish Council, a lay minister of Communion and a lay commentator.
