James Castle, MD

Dr. Castle has been our solid rock through my husband's cognitive decline over the past several years. He explains medical language in simple enough terms for the lay person, offers great suggestions and is extremely responsive. We have seen other well respected neurologists at comparable hospitals - he is down to earth, kind and definitely the best for us. We are thankful to have found him.

Been taking my cousin for several years. He listens and never rushes you out. Always answers questions through their portal.

I found him to be a great doctor . He was beyond thorough and has followed me every six months for several years He was prompt and courteous. He corrected a misdiagnosis by a previous awful neurologist from north shore Nina Kartha.

Evil Dr Castle. Not helping patient as whispering fast talking as ringing earring/tinnitus.

I am a very independent person. I saw him twice, the second time he gave me a very simple test, the I had trouble with because I am legally blind. I told him this on first visit, because I could not see what I was doing he told me I belong in a nursing home. If this is what it was based on his patients are in trouble.

Poor diagnostician. Provided no guidance. Poor communication skills. Unfortunately learned too late that he is not respected by colleagues.

Like him a lot. He gave me an accurate diagnosis and his bedside manner was excellent. He answered all of my questions. A+

His bedside manner is nonexistent! He told my mother, who is already suffering with anxiety and depression regarding her current cognitive state, that she is in full blown dementia, needs to stop driving, stop cooking, etc. Why not find a way that is less blunt when delivering such news? Why not pull aside the family member and let them know first? I am a psychotherapist and I am appalled at his lack of humanistic skills!

Dr Castle is the most competent and caring of any doctor I have ever seen. He goes above and beyond. Heis brilliant and very comforting

Dr. Castle shows unusual insight in his ability to diagnose tricky problems. He also has a very caring demeanor and a wonderful bedside manner. He is particularly good with the elderly.
