It took me 2 calls to get an appointment because they said I had to call my insurance company. Then when I called back and said my insurance company shows him listed as an accepted provider she typed in the information and said oh yes I see that. So instead of spending 2 minutes for the scheduler to look it up I wasted 2 hours trying to get through to insurance for the information. I chalked that up to a n oversight but now after seeing other reviews & my other experiences it appears to be a pattern. My first visit was okay. I didn’t mind seeing a nurse practitioner but was supprised at how she wanted to call in a bunch of prescriptions for allergy meds I can get over the counter as well as melatonin. She also prescribed a water pill because my blood pressure was a said to come back in 2 weeks to go over the blood work she ordered etc. NO PHYSICAL EXAM other than breathing, BP & temperature. I was told when I checked out to log onto a website to review my information/lab work. So I… took time off work again & went back for what I thought was a followup & exam only to sit for an hour to have a different nurse practitioner check my breathing & show me the lab results I already reviewed online and say I could go & to make an appointment for my yearly physical. I went to check out & was told they wanted me to come in again for another $100 + to have a physical in a month. I was so shocked. Why had they not done the physical while I was there either time? Needless to say after getting billed over $100 for lab work, an extra $50 for the first apppoint, paying $100 to sit for an hour & be seen for less than 5 minutes about lab work then to be told I need to come back I don’t plan on going back. A total waste of my time off from work, money & I am sure the aggravation of it all didn’t help my blood pressure!

He doesn't care about his patients.

I have NEVER heard anyone speak to his office staff the way he does. I felt so sorry for them. This man is a total nut job...Because of my insurance I seen him for about 6 months. I called to speak with billing and they refused to talk to me. I felt bad for the girl that answered the phone because she tried to help me after the so called billing department refused to even get on the phone. MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND MEAN DR. I HAVE EVER SEEN.

One nurse practitioner dawson doesn't know what she's doing and the nursing staff are always on their cell phone and cussing out loud I'll never go back.

This is the worst doctor office I have ever been to. I feel sorry for the staffs, most of them seem unhappy. May be that is the reason most of them are unfriendly and rude etc.. I took my parents there several appointments and they were never have been seen by the doctor, only by nurse practitioner. They listened to their hearts and asked few questions and that is it. The staffs concentrated 90%/majority of the time on unnecessary paper works and waiting in the room and 10% of the time is with nurse practitioner.

This is the worse doctor I have ever seen! He is loud, obnoxious, and has bad body odor. He has a serious God complex and doesnt listen to a word you say. He rushed in and rushed out of my room. He was so rude and disrespectful that I left the office crying. Please do not waste your time with this doctor!

I asked for a prescription for Diabetic Shoes, covered by my Humana Insurance. Never heard anything so I checked with Medical Supply Company. They informed me that they contacted Dr Charasika and were waiting for a letter to submit with the order and were waiting for a reply. I called the doctor's and was told I had to have letter signed by the Doctor that issued the prescription. This is a good example of how ignorant, crude and rude this man is. He then blames everything on his staff. What a poor excuse for a man.

It is the excellent nurse practitioenrs at this site that make the difference.The doctor never sees anyone and is very loud and rude.But the NPs are thorough, kind and knowledgeable.I like Anne, and I have told them I will never see anyone else but her.The office is pretty too and the lab is nice.

At some doctors' offices I've been to, the staff acted like you were lucky they were willing to deal with you at all. I never feel that in this office. The staff is terrific - always friendly and professional, and willing to work out whatever problem you may have. My only problem is that they are closed on Fridays (which is when I usually have time to go).
