Dr. Jimmy Chow, MD

I had a SuperPath replacement close to 18 months ago and I can't believe how great I'm feeling. I dance for a professional contemporary company and people can't believe that I'm moving as well as I am after surgery and I truly believe it's due to Dr. Chow's incredible talent and the SuperPath technique. I will need my left hip done eventually as well, and I will be doing it with Dr. Chow for sure. It's worth the long wait for the appointment,

I am 10 days out from a total hip replacement on my right hip. I believe that the surgery that Dr. Chow performs, the Superpath method is just simply way beyond the best technique that is out there. Dr. Chow is a gifted surgeon and a genius. I am doing so so well with this surgery and the fact that it is micro invasive makes all of the difference in the world!!!!! Very little pain, very good plan for the recovery and just loving it. The other types of surgery techniques do not have this sort of immediate improvement and are not nearly going to yield the experience I am having here!!! Yes, there is a wait in the waiting room for Dr. Chow. I wanted the best, not the fastest and I am so grateful that is what I got!!!!!!! Thank you to Dr. Chow and the entire office. I appreciate all of you from the bottom of my heart.

Very thorough in obtaining a history....a great listener. Spent a long time examining my knee and reviewing the diagnostic studies. Excellent diagnostician and came up with a care plan. As a physician I am in a good position to judge quality and Dr. Chow is excellent.

Dr. Chow has replaced both my hips. I had a very fast recovery and am still able to do yoga, although I now stick to a level one class. That was my decision, though, since I’m now 67. I’ve recommended him to friends who have also had excellent results.

Had an appt at 1.30 and was not seen til 6.30. Nobody should be put in that situation to have to wait 5 hrs to see a Dr. He told us he can't help it if he is so popular. Thought he was a good Dr, but have lost my confidence in him. Was told if. You don't want to wait , come early in the morning. The staff told us scheduling books every 10 min. That is soo unfair.

After a brutal head-on vehicle vs vehicle collision caused by the other driver not paying attention it resulted in my needing a partial-knee replacement. Dr. Jimmy Chow did the lengthy surgery on the replacement and reshaping my knee. I was astonished that I was standing-up and walking on it the next day. I couldn't believe that suddenly I had no more pain since the accident. My stability was instant, solid and painless after the healing process. I am up in age over 60 and can walk, swim, hike and bike (nothing to excess) completely with confidence of stability and totally without pain. Dr. Chow relentlessly followed my recover and healing process without skipping a beat ... no exceptions. He is undoubtedly a loving, caring, sensitive and extremely intelligent-detail orthopedic surgeon that is progressively advanced in the complex field of orthopedic hip, knee etc repair and replacement. It is unfortunate that I can only give him (5) big Gold Stars ... He deserves millions… of them! Randy

In March of this year I sought the advice of Dr. Chow for arthritis and severe pain in my left knee. For 9 years I had limited my activities waiting to get “old enough” for a surgeon to justify performing the knee replacement that I needed. After learning of advances in partial knee repairs and Makoplasty I sought Dr Chow's opinion. He reviewed my case and pronounced that he could definitely solve my knee problem and explained the procedure in detail. The surgery went perfectly, the recuperation was uneventful and the physical therapy was successful. I missed only three days of work for the procedure and recuperation. Three months after surgery I was back to hiking steep mountains in rough terrain without pain for the first time in 9 years. Dr Chow is a true expert in his field. As an engineer he has an outstanding mastery of biomechanics and applies them precisely to solve his patients' problems. He is compassionate, professional and kind; truly an outstanding surgeon. As a physician… myself, I am proud to acknowledge the outstanding skill and talents of Dr Chow. He is as good as a Physician can be.

The surfer solved my problem with a very damaged left hip. Dr. Chow is personable and attentive to each patient. Each surgery is conducted with the patient's hip problems. It's not one surgery fits all. The nursing care, the rehab instructions were short but to the point, and the personal in xray at the doctor's office were polite and well versed in their field.

Looking forward to upcoming surgery. Dr. Chow relieved any fears with a confident and friendly demeanor. Wonderful personality.

Dr. Chow is a skilled orthopedic surgeon. I had ²,knee replacements and my recovery time following each surgery was a accelerated. No pain pills after first week. Home alone and able to do all necessary personal surgery . I had tiny incisions and no exterior sutures or staples. Full range of motion with therapy after 6 weeks. Now post.op 16 and 10 months , I am thrilled with my knees. I would recommend Dr. Chow to anyone considering knee replacement surgery.
