Dr. James Edward Cisek, MD

Dr. Cisek is a great guy. He is super nice. When I first went to him a few years ago, I thought he was awesome. Unfortunately, he didn't seem to have any "cures" for anything. His answer was to exercise daily, drink more water, and eat healthy. Of course, this is beneficial advice, but if you are having problems with your thyroid, you need medicine to help your thyroid. It seemed that he cared, but became overwhelmed when it came to solving any problems. I still think he is awesome, and that he probably got blasted by tons of patients making his workload way too much. The Patterson Family Practice has become a revolving door for doctors and patients.

Dr. Cisek is a great physician. Everyone who thinks otherwise is ignorant because they believe they know more than a man who went to numerous years of schooling. Get off the internet and do something useful with your lives because he is one of the best doctors I have ever had.

He's nice. He's not a great physician. I wouldn't go as far as say he's a poor physician... he's worse than that! I went to him because my normal PCP wasn't able to see me during that weekend. I had a sinus infection and pink eye. He barely looked at me and said that my eyes looked fine. My eye was BLOOD SHOT! I looked at my eye before the appointment, it was extremely red. I looked at my eye after the appointment, and it was extremely red. I had to get another visit, and I got treated. Never go to him. You'll find more use from WebMD, and just as much help in the physical world. Waste of time, money, and worry.

He is a "helper" doctor in our family practice office. Nice guy but useless as a physician. And I was told he works in the ER - God help somebody if they are having an emergency!! My son had poison ivy all over and he told me to use over the counter hydrocortisone - been there done that - that's why we were at the doctor!!! I called back the next day and got something useful. Oh, and he also wouldn't touch my son b/c he said he was allergic to poison ivy. (Any intellegent doctor would know that you get poison ivy from the oils in the plant, not from a person who has had many baths in the past week! GOOD GRIEF!!!)I saw him for a follow up for a DVT (blood clot in my leg) - of course I had some questions - he saw me for less than a minute - said my leg looked great and sent me to the lab. I was left with my mouth hanging open. At least I made it to work on time.... My regular doc's nurse called back with my lab report later that day. Needless to say, I had to make another appt to see my… usual doc to get my question's answered.
