James W. Clark, D.D.S., M.S.
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Clark, a native of Ann Arbor, is a graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry where he earned his D.D.S. Upon graduation he served 2 years as an officer in the United States Navy Dental Core. Returning to the U of M he earned his masters degree in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry. Upon graduation he accepted a teaching appointment to the faculty of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry in the U of M School of Dentistry. At the same time, he established a private practice as a licensed specialist in Pediatric Dentistry in the city of Ann Arbor. After more than 20 years on the U of M faculty he left the university to devote all of his energy to the private practice.
In the course of his career Dr. Clark has been a leader in the dental profession having served as President of the local dental society and the Michigan Academy of Pediatrc Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental …Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Michigan Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. His awards for academic excellence, leadership and service to the profession include the award for outstanding perfomance in dentistry for children as an undergraduate dental student by the American Association of Dentistry for Children, induction into the honorary dental society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon for his work as a faculty member and fellowship in the American College of dentists for outstanding leadership in the profession recognising his exceptional standard of integrity and ethics in patient care in service to the profession.
Dr. Clark has lived and worked in the Ann Arbor community all of his adult life and is proud to continue serving the community in the profession he loves.
